The objective of NY politicians is to drive each and every Conservative and true Republican out of NY for good. That way they can have their socialist utopia.

So what's the answer?
I've got what amounts to a life sentence here in NY - unless something unforeseen happens, I'm likely going to be here for the next 15 -20 years. I'm not one to sit back and watch things turn to shit and not try to make things better.
In your opinion, what should New Yorkers who don't have an escape plan be doing to try and contain the damage, if not make things better here?

The courts aren't going to do us any good, no legal means is going to change our laws here. How many millions have been spent already fighting these BS laws? The State has unlimited funds and time, like it or not we are paying der fuhrer's defense fund. Add to that the number of Conservatives who have, and are moving, because they have no viable future here. This state is done. It's already turned to shit.
The only thing I can see to do is stock up on what you like and don't talk freely about it. Why sink finances into a lost cause unless you like betting on a horse with a broken leg?

There are only 3 things you can do.
1. Take it and comply.
2. Move out.
3. Gather thousands of people like you and take up arms. That wouldn't work either unless you are okay with using those arms against politicians and law enforcement who protect them and even if you successfully do that, than you'd have to deal with the Feds for the crimes they'll say you committed.
Those are the only 3 choices and the third one is far fetched with almost a zero chance of being successful. So that just really leaves 2 choices. Writing letters and making phone calls does nothing. Donating money to these organizations also does nothing.

Sure I agree with that, but saying black folks are not 100% human or citizens is different from the right to own a gun. Listen to these liberals they don’t think we matter. Sure people said the same about black folks, but I think this is different. Maybe it will change maybe it won’t. Time will tell. I know they say the generation after the millennials is the most conservative, but my kids are in that generation and I don’t see it. What my son tells me boils my blood. They have patriotic day at school and only a handful of kids wear a flag themed shirt. Not a good sign.

Just a question, Is a NYC premise permit/carry permit a NYS premise permit/carry permit? I kind of thought they were total for NYC only.

A NY CITY carry permit is good for carry in all of NY STATE. A NY STATE carry permit is NOT valid in NYC. Nice double standard huh?
A premise permit (either in NY or NYC) is ONLY valid for possession of the handgun at the address listed on the permit. No target shooting, no hunting, no transporting for repair. Nothing. Nada.
This is the problem...NYC only issues PREMISE permits nowadays, because in the 90s they found out that a restricted "target/sportsman" permit is still technically a full carry permit...and they couldn't allow that to happen anymore!
So now they only issue premise permits, but "allow" people to go target shooting. Which is still illegal. If a NYS trooper caught A NYC handgun owner going to a NYC range with only a NYC premise permit, he COULD arrest you. An NYPD officer would be told NOT to arrest you, because that would upset their little scheme.
But the NYPD would rather "allow" NYC gun owners to break NYS law by transporting with a premise permit...than give them an actual carry permit.
This is how NYC fought this transport law all these years...They told the judge: "Your honor, NYC gun owners can't legally transport their handguns with a premise permit!!!" But the NYPD argued that they COULD grant a special permission to premise holders to transport under their discretion, since it was "adding" to a premise permit.
So the judge ruled that making up a new class of permit was A-OK for NYC...hence this ILLEGAL "premise only but OK for target shooting, but only in NYC, handgun permit" permit.
What the NYSRPA REALLY needs to do it sue NYC for ONLY issuing premise permits, which legally allow you to do NOTHING with your gun.

A law student is going after NYC harder then these tools who are funded by membership dues. Fucking Joke. We have multiple Hawaii, Chicago, DC, decisions that set up shall issue carry across the country but allowing premise holders to leave the city is some how priority. Way too grab that low hanging fruit.
