Why secure the firearms and leave the threatening person loose? Jump in the car and run through a crowd? Why grab the person at home when there's the potential of maximum density of firearms? They're going to search the house and wreck in anyways. It's a recipe for legalized murder by the state and signed off by your disgruntled relatives.

This will be happening more often and I won't be to surprised when it happens to me, I have some very vindictive in laws that are very liberal and feel that only police and military should own ANY firearms! Add to that I've corrupted their baby by introducing her to the world of firearms and self reliance and that proves that I'm a nut case not to be trusted. It's coming some day.

Ad for this story, its frustrating to read that the cops went there at 5am. Any gun owner is going to answer the door with gun in hand at 5am.. its fucking absurd. Shit like this and no knock warrants are recipes for disaster. Too many wannabe door kickers.

I'm waiting for the time when a government agent starts reading some gun forums and see someone post something up in anger and decides to go after them to confiscate their guns and wait for a judge to sort it out. Then they'll print out your comments of what you say online as evidence.

Let me guess no body cameras or they were off? Old story or not this is a taste of things to come. The question is when some cops get killed because of these laws will they back off or ramp up for confiscations? If I was a cop no way I would be a part of these raids. You want to disarm an alleged crazy man? Have at it congressman...

I could get the IP address for almost anyone on here without much difficulty, using nothing that isn't available to everyone with internet access at home.
From there it wouldn't be hard to narrow you down to a city. The cops can easily request all your information from your ISP in many cases they won't even need a warrant, just a "please".
They can even redirect all your internet traffic to one of their intercept servers to look through it, without your ISP even knowing.
That's not conspiracy stuff, that's CALEA (link below). Your ISP is required by law to provide LE with intercept capabilities and they are prohibited from knowing the details even of who they are tapping.

Also Maryland holds about 1/50th of the population and of the are doing 1,300-1,400 gun confiscations that would lead to about 75,000 nation wide on a yearly basis.
Sounds like a great way to legally confiscate guns from us pretty quickly.
