It looks like I struck a chord with you for some reason, however if you reread my first post I acknowledge that what he did is a part of our history. What I don't buy into is how the school's force-fed us that he discovered America when he did not. That has to do with my gripe about the Liberals controlling the education system but I didn't feel I needed to elaborate on that to express my opinion in this thread.It does not matter who was first.
Christopher Columbus is responsible for the transformation of two entire continents over the past five centuries.
His impact on the World is as significant as any man in history.
And more importantly I don't feel that these sjws should be defacing any statues or monuments, nor do I think anybody should be removing monuments of Confederate generals. Our history is our history for the good and the bad.
