The 4th is a Saturday, very poor day to start a war. Everyone is home where they have access to thier guns as opposed to a workday when people are stuck in the gun free zones of their employers. Very bad planning on their part.

Well not necessarily a bad day. When, and IF, they take to the streets there will be virtually no one to obstruct them. Most people of our mind will be home enjoying time with our families and doing our own thing. The only people in the hoods where they will go about their violent business as usual will likely be those who are brain dead to what is truly going on or too cowardly to stand up t them. They will NOT venture into conservative areas.

What is the LEO stance on crowds? If a crowd of people is actively following a person, and the person retreating is doing nothing to provoke them / actively attempting to leave as quickly as they can, is that justified cause for a retreating person to fear for their life and potentially draw on the crowd that is running them down?
I'd assume it's an all or nothing scenario. But following after someone trying to escape, wouldn't it make all individuals in the crowd active participants / acting in a threatening manner against the escaping party?

It's not the LEOs you have to convince. I'd just assume if you shoot someone you *will* be taking a ride, no matter how justified.
It's the DA and then the jury you will need to convince.

I see them as a very serious threat, mainly because they have funding and have not been taken very seriously thus far. This will sow the seeds of a more violent approach by them as long as the LE community does not treat them as the anti-American criminals they are. They must be stopped before their kind multiplies and begins to be an every day threat. The armed gangs and felons that make up the ranks are certainly to be taken seriously IMHO

Short answer is no. A concealed carry listens gives one the lawful right to carry a loaded handgun but under NYS penal law a long gun must be unloaded with action open and not easily loaded when in a vehicle. Gotta keep the firearm in one area and the ammo in a separate area.

During the exercise, a designated DOD Headquarters entity will request county-by-county status reports for the 3,143 US counties and county equivalents, in order to gain situational awareness and to determine the extent of impact of the scenario. Army and Air Force MARS organizations will work in conjunction with the Amateur Radio community, primarily on the 60-meter interoperability channels as well as on HF NVIS frequencies and local VHF and UHF, non-Internet linked Amateur Radio repeaters.
Again this year, a military station on the east coast and the Fort Huachuca, Arizona, HF station will conduct a high-power broadcast on 60-meter channel 1 (5330.5 kHz) on Saturday from 0300 to 0315 UTC. New this year will be an informational broadcast on Sunday, on 13,483.5 kHz USB from 1600 to 1615 UTC. Amateur Radio operators should monitor these broadcasts for more information about the exercise and how they can participate in this communications exercise, English said.
