Anyone keep an ongoing list of the guns they want.

For example, i know in some sort of order what my next gun purchases will be, not including parts for what I already have or what i plan to get.
First up is some further research and acquisition of parts of a handgun that i will keep in PA for 3-gun shooting.
Next is a mossberg 930 for the same reason.
Than i want a cz455 varmint in .17 hmr.
than a ruger american ranch in .300 BLK


Once i get my pistol permit( whenever that finally does occur):
first is a Beretta 92, than a 1911.

if i finally move out of state I'm getting a .300 win mag rifle and a whole lot of suppressors.

LOL, I impulse all the crazy additions, not the gun itself. My NYGF AR was a string of impulse buys after i repeatedly convinced myself that i should spend a little more on each of these parts.

Yes but its always far too long. And frequently subverted by impulse buys. Ruger PCC is on deck and a Benelli M4 is just waiting for the next time I have 2k free and nothing else to spend it on. The latter isn't likely to be anytime soon.

Why that one over any other AR? I too an thinking about a nice AR in my future and can't decide which one to get. Or I might just build one IDK at this point.

That's pretty much top of the line in "direct impingement" SR-25 pattern "tactical" ARs. Its similar to the L129A1 rifle that the British adopted as their issue DMR rifle. The main difference here being this is the slick sided model as opposed to the quad rail version the Brits have. Not sure if the L129A1 is select fire or not.
Its supposed to be an extremely precise gun.
Notable features include a monolithic receiver design and an easy change barrel system.

The barrels are proprietary. The attachment method is not via the typical barrel nut method but via the two bolts you can see just forward of then magwell in the balck strip area on the lower rear of the handguard. The rail is meant to have pic rail sections attached when and where needed.

I don’t write a list down. Not that I’m worried about the Mrs. finding it. She knows that I wheel and deal all the time. Hell, I’ve been doing that since we met. My current short list wants are another S&W N frame .44 mag. w/ 4” barrel, model 29 , JM stamped Marlin 1894 lever gun in .357/.38 .

Yeah it was on the list but it was way, way down there until @GOYABEAN alerted me to a deal I just couldn't turn down and at a time when I actually had the money.
The stinker almost got me for another 2k over a cherry Benelli M4 with all the Freedom Fighter Tactical goodies on it too. Just didn't have the money though. Shame, if I had it would have saved me hundreds in the long run!
