Anyone recognize this ?

I was browsing around breitbart and ran across this article (Missouri Lawmakers Push Campus Carry, Liability for Gun-Free Businesses ), the first thing that struck me was "WTF is going on with that magazine ?"

The only thing I can think is that the guy intentionally jammed it in there backwards, but why ?

I figured this was a more appropriate forum than "firearms in the news" because the discussion is about that gun, not the news article per se.

Probably so no one would mistake it for locked and loaded.

The people who know enough to recognize that fact probably wouldn't care.

Plus, it says nothing about a chambered round, only that it won't have a second one after the first is fired.
