Anyone using the Peltor 300 or 500 muffs?

I use the 500s they are decent. I also use them in the gym Bluetooth connected to my iPhone. You can even answer calls from them if you wish when they are paired with a phone.
If you have little one shooting with you. They may be a little heavy for a child and they are quite bulky so they may get in the way of a child trying to align the sights on a rifle.

Funny thin is I replace them for the exact same reason only mine were only 20 years old.
I have the 300s. I like them very much. I did pay the extra $50(!) for the gel ear cups and as ridiculous as that price is I am glad I did.
$109 is a great deal for the 500s. That is what Amazon wanted for the 300s when I bought them!

I also added the gels .can't take it with you .
OK...got the new 500s. Everything is fine but when Bluetooth is working there is a ticking sound, very quiet, in the background when paired, but no audio is being streamed. Once an audio source is started the sound gets louder and more complex. Anyone noticed this?
