yeah I was looking at those too. I need 1.25 for the sights and my prescription is for near vision 2.00. I had my optometrist write me a prescription for the 1.25s I was thinking about going with a prescription lens for my left eye and just plain glass on the right eye.
Yeah mine was ugly. I got lucky and hit three neck labels which turned it into a pretty good score. Otherwise it would have been even more laughable.
Well I finally made it to the range only to have it start pouring buckets. I was able to set up and shoot the 10 yard. Pistol target before it started coming down though so , here it is. I'll have to get back out on Saturday to shoot the 25 & 100 yard targets after the gun show.

I have a couple of perfect old eyes targets picked out.Lookit @S&W Fan trying to nudge them scores! Sharp shooting anyhoo though. Those neck hits really shift the score high huh? I didn't even try as I was having a very hard time just making out the bottle outlines. In fact I couldn't really even see the lighter bottles against the light background, I just focused on my breathing and shifted my aim over a set amount. @dsdmmat, for the next match can we get a target with high contrast? I'll score my own target in return. If its not too complicated for a bear of very little brain anyway

You're right, I don't know why I thought @S&W Fan's revolver was a .22. This makes my previous point even more interesting given his nice score. But @kev74 had to come along and wreck the bell curve and my observation! Very nice shooting though. I wish I had given the match a go with my PPQ, though I don't think I would have gotten even 20 points, I've never been much of a pistolero. I'm working on it.
Yeah I had my 40 with me when I was shooting the challenge because I am going to use it for the bowling pin shoot. I didn't use it because I really don't want all those -10 penalties for hitting two bottles with one shot.
