.475 A&M Magnum
You guys are a bad influence, much more than any influence I may have on y'all. I enjoyed putting the Valkyrie upper together and really do enjoy shooting it, in fact, I consider it the nicest, most pleasurable, smoothest, and most accurate shooting rifle I have ever owned, and I've had a few. So I'm thinking now that much of the mess that was the AR-10 platform has been cleared up and generally standardized, this winter I'm going to put one together, top to bottom. I figure a .308 fixed magazine, though I don't plan on doing that caliber it will be compatible with many calibers that are derived from that shell casing, I just haven't decided which one. Now I readily admit that I'm fairly new to this kind of weaponry and would appreciate any and all information anyone and everyone would wish to impart. Of course accuracy is a must, but it will be a hunting rifle primarily and of course targets and milk jugs secondarily but that's where most of the ammo will be spent. So let me know what your thoughts are, it's a blank canvass fellows.
