I'm just double checking, if you have a pinned mag AR then you do not have to pin the adjustable stock, pin the muzzles device, or remove a bayo lug ...Correct?

There is a deniability clause for ignorance to UNSAFE they seem to not want to let anyone use where they could let someone register if caught. This probably takes a plea bargain to get using a good lawyer.Penal code 265
All ny gun owners should read it atleast once.
New York Consolidated Laws, Penal Law § 265.00 | FindLaw
Please explain what you mean by "pinned mag". Do you mean a 30 round mag pinned to 10 rounds? Do you mean the mag is pinned or fixed to the receiver? If so, how exactly is it pinned?I'm just double checking, if you have a pinned mag AR then you do not have to pin the adjustable stock, pin the muzzles device, or remove a bayo lug ...Correct?

I read it..i'm not a lawyer.. I was hoping for a quick yes no answer.
You know what bulletguy .... I'm trying to get clarifaction. You sell AR uppers and complete guns that you claim are NY safe act legal. When you build and sell a AR15 with a permantly attached 10rd Magazine, do you need to pin the ajustable Stock, can it have a bayonet lug, and does the muzzle device have to be pinned in place. Thats all I'm asking,

I offer fire arms with a non-removable magazine.
That is the general consensus, correct. The legal wording is murky, and this makes for uncertainty. You probably are okay if the mag is fixed with a screw (button press does not drop mag), and more so with the addition of epoxy. The truth is no one knows for certain until it goes to court. No doubt this was intentional by our lawmakers. Really quite brillant because it has us all running in circles scratching our heads (and arguing amongst ourselves).I'm just double checking, if you have a pinned mag AR then you do not have to pin the adjustable stock, pin the muzzles device, or remove a bayo lug ...Correct?

And figure out which online vendor will ship ammo to my house. That's all!!!
That's not what the law says. It says ability to accept.Yes, but does the magazine have the 'ability' to be removed?

A lot depends on if its raining, its a day ending with the letter 'Y', and if the guy shooting next to you, that just took a piece of your hot brass down this shirt collar, is a policeman and didn't get laid the night before.I'm just double checking, if you have a pinned mag AR then you do not have to pin the adjustable stock, pin the muzzles device, or remove a bayo lug ...Correct?

^^^^ THIS is the best goddamn description of how the unSAFE Act is interpreted. Kudos!A lot depends on if its raining, its a day ending with the letter 'Y', and if the guy shooting next to you, that just took a piece of your hot brass down this shirt collar, is a policeman and didn't get laid the night before.

Underwood will ship to NY as wellThe consensus I've always seen is that if you permanently fix the (<=10rd) mag you can have an adjustable stock and pistol grip.
Also here is a (maybe not up to date) list of vendors who ship ammo to NY.:
I think the OP is being overly hassled about this.
Everyone here agrees with this statement (I suspect): If the gun cannot accept a detachable magazine, it can have the adjustable stock, muzzle device, front grip, etc.
The gray area is nobody knows what a "detachable magazine" acceptance criteria is exactly. There is no consensus and there is no legal precedent. Many people have felt comfortable with washers and epoxy because that makes the magazine removable only with tools. But if you were to remove it, of course you'd have to first make the gun compliant, else now you have a gun that accepts a detachable mag and still has the evil features.
Now I'm damn positive that if you have an aluminum upper and your magazine is welded into it, that certainly qualifies. I also would personally feel comfortable with washers and some epoxy (something that requires tools to undo). I would not personally feel comfortable with some of the quick change devices people are using. That's just my personal feeling--wouldn't want to defend it in court, but others disagree.
