As in a "Hello fellow gun enthusiasts!" Way?

Unfortunately I do not remember the size/thread pitch for the nut. I just took the mag catch with me and found something that threaded on without jamming. I also grabbed a small washer as well so the nut didn't dig into the lower.
No other parts needed. The original mag button and spring are in a small ziplock bag in my desk.
I specifically chose a mag with a removable base plate to help if I needed to clear a jam (on the advice of people here on the forum).
only thing I really would like is a rear takedown pin with a ring attached, for easier loading. But, as this is a range toy (for now), I'm not too worried.
I enjoy being able to reload without extra steps. I also like being able to go home with my rifle if ever I'm confronted by law enforcement. If you're accustomed to rifles, Thorsden stock is not an issue.Thordsen and thread protector for the win.
To be honest, I do not care.Yessh.

I am not going to say anything on a public forum that I wouldn't assume a dozen alphabet agencies aren't data mining anyway.

Depends on who you ask.So removing the spring and button and simply placing a washer and nut is legal in NY for a featured AR? No expoxy needed?
Makes it non detachable. Law doesn't say anything about epoxy. As has been said, that doesn't mean the police won't take it away from you.So removing the spring and button and simply placing a washer and nut is legal in NY for a featured AR? No expoxy needed?

Then they'd better get der fuhrer to write the definition into Law. Otherwise, I just won the Court lottery and their police budget is about to go to hell.
Winner. This is how it works, take a plea, and we keep your gun. Unless of course you have unlimited funds to fight it.Or the court rules what you had didn't fall within the law and you are now out all that money and caught a felony. But more than likely you plead down to a misdemeanor
