I dont know how to weld. Bought an 80 dollar stick welder from Harbor freight that works awesome. You dont need to know how to weld to put a dab over the pin.

Definitely not the ideal welder for this type of job though. That's like a Doctor using a broadsword for open heart surgery.

I have no problem putting a dab of weld smaller than the size of a sesame seed on a pin without screwing it up, Ive done 9 guns this way. You would have to be a fucking pin head to screw it up,,,, with any type of welder. Might not be ideal if your a desk jockey.
