AR goodie bonanza!!

So, since I've been running like a demon and therefore making some pretty decent bank I have gone on a bit of a bender buying schtuff for the DD.
I got this RDS- an EG 1 from DI Optical.

An Elzetta Mini cqb

Hiperfire edt.

And on a whim, 200 rounds of these. They were on sale at PSA.

Should all be waiting for me when I get home in a couple of weeks. Maybe not the ammo but I hope so, c'mon PSA y'all can do it! I'll post up how I like it all when I get home.
Update: ammo has already shipped, good job PSA! Still waiting for the light to ship.

Company has been around for awhile supplying red dot type sights mostly for machine guns and the like for both the US ann South Korean militaries. Its a South Korean firm. They just entered the civilian realm last summer.

If they do, please let us know. From time to time, they'll have great sales on pants with inseams that are 6.8 fingers long. It's one of my favorite pant sizes, but just isn't seen much around here.

Still waiting an a nylon brush set (No biggie) second round of Gold Dot ammo (also no biggie) and the goddamn brass punch set I expressly bought for the trigger install! Aint that a bitch? Wonder if I can get away with using the included drift pin as a punch?

I would really like to hear a report on the Hyperfire trigger. I was reading they are "suppose" to be a smoothest trigger around? If you would be so kind as to a report, that would be great.

Yes I will report on all items in the relevant sections. Note that the Hiperfire EDT is the companies "budget" offering. I selected it as this trigger is touted as being better suited to duty/defensive use than the other, more expensive triggers.

As you know I built that AR last summer. First I went with the billion-piece trigger group. I had to use 3 little brass punches to put it all together; and I accidentally bent one of the punches. ;-( Great experience doing it that way though - everyone should put together a trigger piece by piece one time. About 2 months later, I ditched that many-piece solution and went with the POF-USA enhanced finger placement (EFP) system which drops in as one piece. They charge like $160, but I found one of those bad boys on eBay for like $125 and jumped on it.

Not terribly but Its proly best that I deleted it, thanks for the heads up, I was all excited!
Also discovered the the Mini CQB light mount will not fit on the DD Slim rail. The rail is too narrow to provide cleareance for the light. Sigh. Return, reorder.
