Need to know, thanks!
That never went away although there are still places out there that ship freely to NY
Seriously. Easier to find places than to find ammo. What ammo ?
Not just ammo but guns and all gun parts.Biden wants to ban online ammo sales so it may come to fruition soon.
Not banned. But they are afraid of harassment from FUAC's goon squad.Yes found one that shipped me some 9mm. Other shops would not leading me to believe that it was banned.
Add 80% lowers to this as well. I’ve heard they sent letters to anyone with the word assault riffle on their page. I know they sent a cease and desist order to many of them. Again no law backing this up.Not banned. But they are afraid of harassment from FUAC's goon squad.
They can't charge the shop with anything, but they can bankrupt them with harassing lawsuits.
It's criminal extortion, but they get away with it.
IMHO FUAC and anyone who assisted in one of those schemes should be prosecuted, but it'll never happen.
At this point the whole NYS government should probably be declared a criminal enterprise.
Thats because they are either lying to you to make more money, or they are ignorant of the law.Yes found one that shipped me some 9mm. Other shops would not leading me to believe that it was banned.
New Jersey | No magazines over 10 rounds, must have a New Jersey Firearms Purchaser Identification Card to purchase ammunition Click here to upload your NJ Firearms Purchaser ID Card |

New York | No magazines over 10 rounds |
New York City | No magazines over 10 rounds, all ammunition must be shipped to an FFL Click here to upload an FFL |
They are on my shit list. They jacked up prices insanely fast and higher than many others did during the pandemic. I’d be hard pressed to give them a dime of mine. They would have to be significantly cheaper.Outdoorlimited.com still ships ammo to your door for NYS. NYC and NJ have other rules.

At least as far back as boss Tweed. They always have been
My pet peave with this site. Way too many simular threads so why start another if the comment fits within the topic on someones thread. Why revive a garbage newbie/ghost thread to talk about ammo?
It never was banned, but NY politicians got what they wanted. They made people and some retailers believe it was illegal even when it wasnt. In doing so they hurt the gun business, drove up ammo prices and discouraged shooters from training, practicing, teaching others, etc..Yes found one that shipped me some 9mm. They also used the NYAG office to threaten TargetSports and some others with multiple suits to prohibit on-line ammo sales directly to a NY consumer which were all dropped when TargetSports, who did not have the business profile to mandate sales tax collection for NY, to do the tax collection bidding for the emperor of the empire state. It never was banned, but NY politicians got what they wanted. Death by 1000 cuts is their goal.
Yep, its infuriating that they are allowed to get away with this.
Agreed that ODL is relatively expensive (now) but they were at one time reliable and cheaper than some during the pandemic. They should really lower their prices. They are on my shit list. They jacked up prices insanely fast and higher than many others did during the pandemic. I’d be hard pressed to give them a dime of mine. They would have to be significantly cheaper.
Best part is my FIL swears by them because he got some super cheap 6.8SPC from them. So whenever I find cheap 6.8 and say we should split this he keeps bringing up well I’m not buying it until I get it for $0.65/round like I did from outdoor limited. So I asked how did that happen? Well I spent X amount of money and got free shipping, signed up for their one-time 10% off and o had a gift certificate for $50. I said are you serious? Yep. Then you didn’t pay that price. He’s nuts.
Nice I just checked and shipping was $43.00 for a case of .223. Wow. Between that and tax makes it where I don’t want to buy it. Also I think a while back they said no shipping to NYS so this is good.Agreed that ODL is relatively expensive (now) but they were at one time reliable and cheaper than some during the pandemic. Found another one and ordered some ammo at a decent price. NY shipping too!!!
