That's what I thought too. Her reactions and shot placement indicate someone who has spent some time actually shooting her gun. But when shot gets real any training that you haven't hammered into a rote response goes right out the window and is replaced by instinct.
Bit kudos again to her for doing it wrong but right. Being able to preserve through mistakes and achieve a good result is the best skill of all.

So right! Training is key and you will fall back on it in a high stress fast response type situation. I was in such a situation and automatically racked the slide of my 1911 even though I always carried "cocked and locked". Why did I rack it? Because at the range drawing from a holster is banned thus I always had to rack it. To this day I still remember seeing that silver and black round (Black Talon) sailing through the air in a gentle arc towards the ground. Weird huh?

Stress will cause different people to react differently and every situation calls for a different response,not always dependent on training.The closest I ever came to dropping the hammer on someone involved four thugs with baseball bats outside my bar.Myself and 2 guys I worked with just got there one night after work.They had just thrown a punk out that got into a fight with some regulars.He and 3 of his friends came back with bats,long story short,one of my friends had 3 of them against a wall at gunpoint,the 4th was approaching him from behind we got ourselves between him and my buddy and as I was telling him to drop the knife,he kept approaching and the hammer on my 60 was coming back slowly,something I never "trained" for.Just before the hammer dropped he dropped the knife and ran.Have no idea how I squeezed so slowly and with so much control,and actually didnt even think about til the whole deal was done and he was cuffed.It could have ended so differently and I feel like there was something else in control of how it did end.
