was just watchin a vid from the slow mo guys .. needle thru glass .. .. it didnt go thru but the the impact sent glass flying to pop the balloon on the other side .. that action to reaction .. will mess up your guts .. just like a kidney punch ..

I suppose they could make a .270 "short" from the .308 case. (Like .270 and .30-06.)

Your body armor dosen't matter anyway when you're bleeding to death from the head, pelvis, or an arm arterial bleed. Ceramic armor will fail after only a handful of round anyway.
