It's funny how the holster sniffers will say "We don't know what happened before the camera was on". Same could be said here. I saw a guy with a camera told to move back. He did. Then the cop walks away and gets mad when he said he was a reporter doing his job. Who escalated this?

I have seen way worse arrests. I think this one is bad but I would like to see the video prior to the escalation. I just like to mess with Go. Will might have a tear filled night though. I'm willing to bet all charges will be dropped. Any takers?

The arrest looks pretty excessive to me. That said, if reporter prick just had simply complied with the officers request and kept his mouth shut, he walks away. Regardless of your opinions concerning law enforcement, giving them attitude is always a dumb move.

Here's the thing. Many people are derogatory to people in uniform. They are assholes but that's the job. I get derogatory statements thrown at me because I wear a uniform. I got derogatory statements thrown at me when I was a Hospital Peace Officer years ago.

I’ve been around long enough to always know how to win, there’s no “woe” is me here. Like I said, I look at people who act that way and wonder what is so bad about their life that they have to treat people that way to make themselves feel good. There’s always a reason. Normal, good people don’t act like degenerates to anyone, much less law enforcement or others performing a service for them.

You’re the second most likley on this forum to defend degeneracy. Can’t really think of an example where you haven’t. I understand you do it on principle as opposed to agreement (as Darth does), but still. It’s not good to encourage this behavior.
It is an important philosophical question: when we defend degeneracy on principle, at some point we are not only accepting it, but encouraging it. Where is the line? Talk about a true “slippery slope”.
