Oh, they do. Ask me how I know...If you think that the NYSP does not monitor this sight then I have abridge to sell you.

For the first time in my life I am going to respond to the post re: prosecuting New Yorkers for buying ammo out of state; every time I read comments that state FUCH regarding our laws and then go on to say they will buy ammo in Pa. or some other state, or reloaders saying they have X amount of rounds saved up and tell the gov. to f-off, what do you expect. If you think that the NYSP does not monitor this sight then I have abridge to sell you. Gun owners are their own worst enemy.
You're pretty naive if you think that idea came from our overloards watching forums. They know damn well what's going on.For the first time in my life I am going to respond to the post re: prosecuting New Yorkers for buying ammo out of state; every time I read comments that state FUCH regarding our laws and then go on to say they will buy ammo in Pa. or some other state, or reloaders saying they have X amount of rounds saved up and tell the gov. to f-off, what do you expect. Firearm parts as well, places i used to buy from will no longer sell to NYers. She'll do it again with this. She has endless tax payer money to fund her frivolous law suit threats, whereas mom & pop shops and other retailers can't afford the expense.Well Litegeous Letitia pretty much shut down inter net ammo sales with just a threat, did the same with 80% receivers, no law, not even a regulation, just the threat and our cowardly brothers in Arm's folded there money grubbing tents and said, no stuff for you!

As long as they don't ask for ID, PA sellers are in the clear,,
"KNOWINGLY SELL AMMUNITION TO A RESIDENT OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK"
So its all our fault for living by our God given rights and expressing just that. WTF!For the first time in my life I am going to respond to the post re: prosecuting New Yorkers for buying ammo out of state; every time I read comments that state FUCH regarding our laws and then go on to say they will buy ammo in Pa. or some other state, or reloaders saying they have X amount of rounds saved up and tell the gov. to f-off, what do you expect. There’s a huge difference between buying something in NYS and having it shipped to your house in NYS than buying it in another state when you could use it or store it in that state.Legally, you're probably mostly correct. But, I think the same logic might apply to online sales, and they have successfully scared all the retailers away from that. So, whether or not it can be enforced, it can still have a very real impact.
It's even more useless when you realize most criminals steal their guns and the ammo to go with it, or just buy stolen guns and ammo. The whole ammo background check is useless. Especially folks that know how to reload such as many of us.
What's even better is one can simply make their own ammo without the use of a press or really any expensive tooling.
It took me ~20 minutes to make up 10 perfectly good 9mm luger rounds using a mini scale, a case gauge, and a wooden dowel to prime the cartridges. I then tested them out and they all fired just like what would come from my RCBS or factory ammo.
Do they not realize that someone like a felon can do this in their apartment kitchen?
If anyone thinks that the shitbags in Albany relied on this site to alert them to circumventing their bullshit legislation, you live in a dream world. They're assholes, but they're not stupid assholes. They have plenty of taxpayer money to spend to look 8 moves ahead. You can be certain there's reams of other legislation just waiting to be shoved up our asses. Do you think for one second that the government, State Police, etc. didn’t know people were going to go out of state to circumvent this law and just found out from this forum? There’s no law that says we can’t buy it and return with it. They are simply trying to scare people into not selling it to us.There are plenty of places in PA to buy from. Any NYS law is unenforceable, unless they stop cars at the border entering NYS doing random searches doe stuff in your trunk. Oh wait, that is illegal too.....
Oh don’t cha know Leticia’s gonna make all gun stores in the country check the ID of every customer to see if they might be from NY!!There are plenty of places in PA to buy from. No doubt. But don't underestimate how gun-shy places can be about things like this. There’s a huge difference between buying something in NYS and having it shipped to your house in NYS than buying it in another state when you could use it or store it in that state.
What about if I ever gas up in NJ or PA?
Tons of people have friends out of state. So screw Albany and the horse they rode in on.

This is a PSA to ALL Gun Stores out side of NYS ..
Don't Ask . Don't Tell ..
Just Sell ..
and Fk-u states with FOID Cards ..
At the rate we're going 90% of the forum members will be from out of state by next June and making money re-selling ammo to us.You forgot family. Lots of friends and family out of state. Ya know like the countless new Yorkers they've driven out that have had to leave their homes to move to free states.
Just go to any firearms store in PA (not near the border) and look at their reaction when you show them your NYS ID (if they even ask for it). They raise their eyebrows and give the 'silent nod' to freedom when purchasing ammo.Oh don’t cha know Leticia’s gonna make all gun stores in the country check the ID of every customer to see if they might be from NY!!
