Trump raised my federal taxes ~$2000 in actual paid amount when accounting for pay increases, etc. In 2 months in office Biden has lowered them.
Trump's major legislation fucked me, Biden right out of the gate has helped me.
These things might have been different for you, but I care about *my* taxes. Personally, I call paying less taxes a good thing, I'm assuming you'd agree that less taxes is better.
Has the child tax credit went through yet? Last I knew it didn't. Not for nothing 2k child credit was a substantial increase from what it was previously with Trumps legislation.

Also, don't forget to account for the actual value of your money. With the impending inflation you're going to find out even with that extra $2k you won't be able to buy as much stuff as you used to.
