Neither does mine but it is required for the new enhanced drivers licenseInteresting. My New York State drivers license does not and never has had my full middle name. Luckily my DOD retired identification card does.

mine does not either...but my PA Non resident pistol permit has my full Middle name....... Jeez always something....more and more and more they want..... I sorta get it..my wife had an issue with her NY PP application as her ex Sister in law has same name and it was the middle name that set them apart. she was/is not a good person......Interesting. "NMN" is the recognized abbreviation for "No Middle Name" on federal documents.Been this way since January I believe.
My dad doesn’t have a middle name and I’m not sure how that would go. They flew so he must have an enhanced DL. I just talked with a guy who doesn’t have a middle name about signing a legal document and he said NMI. I’m not sure if that’s a legal thing or not.
So I just took a look, my Army retirement card has my middle name, my driver's license has my middle name, my pistol permit has my full middle name and my police ID has my full middle name.
My social security card has my full middle name my birth certificate has my full middle name I even have two credit cards that have my full middle name.
I'm not sure if I see the problem here.
Funny thing is: in the Army if you did not have a middle initial you got three,I don't have a middle name or middle initial. Lots of people don't. Whoever put up that sign is an ignorant moron.
In 45 years of using ids, it was never an issue. The SOP for filling out forms was to leave middle name or middle initial box blank.
All my id's have middle initial only. Purchased something week before last and used my full middle name on the 4473. Went through in less than 5 seconds.

I have an enhanced driver’s license and it does not have my middle name, just initial, fyiNeither does mine but it is required for the new enhanced drivers license
I would think a birth certificate would count in combination with your FL. My DL and passport have my middle name. What form of identification must a licensee obtain from a transferee of a firearm? | Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and ExplosivesDoes a birth certificate count? If not, I need s hunting liscence anyway, will they just update that?
It is? I have one and mine does not have my middle name.Neither does mine but it is required for the new enhanced drivers license
I usually have at least ONE customer per day (at the gun counter) that I have to send back to get govt. ID with their middle name. They usually come back with a birth certificate or passport, one guy brought us a copy of his marriage license. There is the occasional ignorant troll who tells us to "go F*** yourself" but he(she) never gets their firearm. The rule went into effect in October 2020. I work for Runnings in Plattsburgh, and since then we have been directed by our National as well as state gun gurus to REQUIRE a full middle name on the IDENTIFICATION we use as proof of identity for the 4473's. We are also required to have an accurate physical address, not a PO Box or a handwritten address correction on the back of the drivers license. Local DMV's are not very picky about including these on a DL and we have to insist a customer have some kind of Govt ID such as Soc. Sec Card, Passport, Birth Certificate, or Sportsmans license to establish their identity with the FBI. I had to go to extra pains to get my Middle Name on my Drivers' License when I renewed it, but I am encouraging everyone who comes into the store to update their ID when they get a chance. We are no longer allowed to suggest a customer buy a new fishing license, but I DO inform folks the Runnings "Service Desk" will print a revised sportsmen's license on our DEC printer for them if they request. No idea what they use as proof for the revised middle name, though.

See answer above.so you would deny a sale if a person does not a middle name and only a initial ?
