August target challenge

Great shooting, and here I went and threw the gauntlet down for all to see that I was gonna challenge myself and step up to shoot ALL three challenges this month. Then you went and did this. Looks like I may be doing the Limbo under this bar.

Not for this month's match. There was a match with a CCW pistol focus, I think the minimum caliber was .380? This month's is wide open.

Like @Podmonkey stated no restrictions this month. In June we did a Subcompact pistol and Iron Sight rifle challenge. Next month you will need to get a hold of some 8 1/2x 14 paper to print the target. You can see all the previous challenges by clicking the link in my sig. The targets and rules are always in the first post. Warning you may get addicted to these challenges.

lol, well the scope parallax on my Nikon is not good for anything close up so the 25 yard challenge the target looked like I forgot to put on my glasses.

I am working on a substitute so you can print it on normal paper. Jeeseum you would have thought I just shot the Pope asking people to print on 8.5x14 paper.

I think I have got next months target down to 8 1/2 x 11. I will produce two versions the will both have the same sized targets but one will be the original 8 1/2 x 14 and the other will be a condensed version for 8 1/2 x 11 sized paper.

So who is going to shoot August's Challenge? Don't be shy, lots of time left.

I will be shooting Aug for sure!! Just need to make more copies of the target at work.

Requiring the larger paper just allows the guys on the shooting forum not to have to go shoot. This way I don't have to shoot it because my printer doesn't print 8 1/2 x 14.

So that's my excuse for next month. My printer is not big enough, the targets are too small, it's raining, I work too much, my gun needs to be cleaned, I didn't have the right Ammo,……

I am attaching the target for you to use for next month. It's 8 1/2 x 11". We should make it freestyle 10 feet pistol. Freestyle 20 feet rifle. Freestyle 35 feet bench rifle. 10 hits in the white required. Edge hits do not count.

Saves on ink. Better?

I tried to do the August challenge the other day with my pistol. I was running some kind of shitty factory ammo. My shots roll over the paper. Yes, I'm blaming the ammo. I've got some handloads and I'm going to go back out, possibly today.

LOL, the maximum range of an excuse is 0 yards. Every printer being used today can print 8 1/2x14 as easily as it can print 8 1/2 x 11. The real reason people don't do these challenges is because they are skerd to show the world how piss poor of a shooter they are in real life compared to how great of a shooter they say they are on the internet.
