Auto knife thread

The newest addition to my OTF knife collection for use while out of doors is from TAKCOM.​

Got the Nighthawk V2 DE, as I prefer my Auto knives with the switch on the face of the handle for Ambi use and don't like having a glass breaker stud on the end of the handle.
I've paid a lot more for knives of the same quality.

Hunting, Fishing, and Fur Trapping – Automatic Knives​

§ 265.20 provides that the “switchblade” restrictions contained in § 265.01 shall not apply to:

Possession of a switchblade for use while hunting, trapping or fishing by a person carrying a valid license issued to him pursuant to § 11-0713 of the environmental conservation law.

Accordingly, those holding the appropriate license may acquire and carry an automatic knife “for use while” engaged in the licensed activity.

Here is my knife collection. I forged the one underneth the karambits.

The only one i dare carry in NYS is the assist one on the bottom of the first column. I think I would be OK carrying the first and third in the first column in NYS as it complies with the length.

When in PA, all the rest are fair game, I usually carry the top Gerber.
