True to some extent they were backing up NYRPs caseSafe was passed in 2013. Scalia bit it in 2016. And it took that long for it to go through the fed court system. Your point?
And none of that was NRA work.

I never said that. You've had a lot of at bats and so far you can't even get a walk.

No, you misinterpreted that comment. YeRRRROUT!You made a comment at 8:54 this morning about the NRA doing nothing but sitting around and bitching. I agree with that comment.
You lost me with the "at bats"comment above.
No, you misinterpreted that comment. YeRRRROUT!

I'd say not only is it easier but it yields better returns for me personally than what the NRA does for us here in NY. That's just me. Those fuckers still owe me a douffle bag too! I know I know, they do stuff for the rest of the country and all. I'm not trashing anyone that supports them. I respect anyone who supports our cause the way they see fit. There are multiple ways to do it. I guess I just broke faith with them and the NYSRPA.I guess its easier to sit back and bitch.

Courts are less likely to reverse lower court's decisions. Skretny had the first dibs and he derailed major legal case against SAFE.
Republican controlled state senate let SAFE pass. Republican appointed Federal Judge upheld it. Republican appointed majority on the SCOTUS did nothing to hold back the wave of bans. Get the picture. Can't blame the democrats, when republicans are just as guilty.
Only here could an anti-FUAC post turn into an NRA bashing thread.
I did this almost 6 years ago and haven't regretted it.

Sure. Its all NRA's fault. I think a lot of people mistake being a cheap f**ker for standing on principal. Just the commentators and media outreach NRA has brought on over the past few years is worth the $10 or so for an associate membership. I bet some of the misguided folks here would find fault with Wayne LaPierre offering them a machine gun and a hand job - cause they should have done more!
If the hands-in-the-pockets crowd here and in NYS did something - anything - to advance 2nd Amendment rights as much as they bitch and moan, we wouldn't be in the shape we're in.
I could not respond to this yesterday, I had to go to work. So first I will respond in the correct time frame not how you posted!
1) "Republican controlled state senate let SAFE pass" Yes after Dean Skelos told the NRA and NYSPRA rep's he would not bring it to the floor for a vote! They went out to get a bite to eat and got a call that he betrayed them! ( guess they should of put armed guards at the door to his office! )
2) " Skretny had the first dibs and he derailed major legal case against SAFE." Yes a Bush appointee that took at least 60 votes to win confirmation. ( This was why Obama put forth Merrick Garland for the SCOTUS, so as not to be Filibustered! If the Dem get the WH and Senate now with a simple majority 51/49 Garland will not be on top of the list ) I mention this because now Trump seems to be appointing more Conservative Judges to Federal Courts that would not have confirmed with 60+ votes ( As Mitch McConnell said to Harry Reid " You'll regret this, and you may regret this a loot sooner then you think.")
3) " Republican appointed majority on the SCOTUS did nothing to hold back the wave of bans" Again I will say Yes! But with Kennedy the swing vote for 5/4 decisions ( And many were not sure how he would vote on either side of the Court, That taking any 2A case would be foolish! ) Remember this would be a final decision! The Safe-Act case was pulled after Scalia passed away because the best we could of hoped for was a 4/4 tied the worst a 5/3 loss! I don't know about you but I didn't like those odds!
But some how the NRA is to blame!

It perfect, by far. But well worth the price of admission in my opinion.Enjoy your coolaid. Anyone who doesn't see how NRA abandoned NY is a gullible idiot. I am still a member, doesn't mean they are doing their job.
