Need to bring back tarring and feathering.
You'll need a permit, background check and note from your wife for that.Need to bring back tarring and feathering.
Apparently, this wench seems to think you can run out, buy a 3D printer, plug it in, Push a button and WHAM-O, you made a gun?
With all her intelligence, and acquired knowledge, she's pretty dumb
The numbers have "skyrocketed" since 2019.I really want to know how many 3-D printed guns they are finding out there? My BIL has a 3-d printer that is carbon fiber compatible but I wouldn’t trust a frame made of plastic.
Three-dimensionally printed firearms, a type of untraceable ghost gun, can be built by anyone using an $150 three-dimensional printer. Three-dimensional printed guns are growing more prevalent each year. There were 100 taken off the streets of New York City in 2019. That number skyrocketed to 637 in 2022. Concurrently, ghost gun shootings have risen 1,000% across the nation. Currently, three-dimensional printers allow people to make, buy, sell, and use untraceable guns without any background checks. This bill will require a background check so that three-dimensional printed firearms do not get in the wrong hands.
Look what Hamas did with water and sewer pipe.Or the home depot plumbing aisle...
Only if it is a mechanically activated 3d-printing press. Otherwise the 1A doesn't cover it, right?1A infringement .. 3d printers can print words and more words
They've banned muskets, too.Only if it is a mechanically activated 3d-printing press. Otherwise the 1A doesn't cover it, right?
Just like the 2A only covers muskets.

Electro Chemical Machining. Its not new tech by any means but was adopted a few years ago by the printing community. Rifled barrels can be made at home with very little effort or cost.I see posts on twitter from a guy who shows how to drill out the center of a bolt, then how to rifle it to make a barrel.
They can ban anything they can think of, but it won't stop anyone with sufficient motivation to make any implement they can dream up.
Good people will use their toys for good purposes. Bad people will use their toys for bad purposes. No legislation will stop this. Locking criminals in cages might slow it down.
I think P80's are far more prevalent. No need for carbon fiber, PLA+ does the job. There are tens of thousands of printed pews out there and most reputable designers are very dilligent on thier testing going as far as to do limited beta testing with a minumum round count before being released to the public.I really want to know how many 3-D printed guns they are finding out there? They also cost a few pennies to make, so when they begin to fail, you simply swap it out.its the regulated part (AR/glock lower) so if there is a failure its not likely to be something that blows up in your face and gives warning before.
Not quite pennies but certainly sub $10. I am told it does take an hour or two to clean and fit the parts to the print. They also cost a few pennies to make, so when they begin to fail, you simply swap it out.

Please don’t use that example. You should see the laws that passed after that one. In NYC, one technically need a driver’s license to pump gas, can not legally pump gas in most gas cans yourself , and more .87 people killed with $1.00 worth of gasoline.
You can't ban evil.

So they past a bunch of feel-good laws that didn't accomplish anything...Please don’t use that example. You should see the laws that passed after that one. In NYC, one technically need a driver’s license to pump gas, can not legally pump gas in most gas cans yourself , and more .
Yep. But some of these lawmakers actually believe their BS at times .So they past a bunch of feel-good laws that didn't accomplish anything...
Where have we heard that before?
Yeah, but they're morons.Yep. But some of these lawmakers actually believe their BS at times .
Well, we already know that the drawing of an auto-sear is... an auto-sear.Regulate pencils too

Yes sir! All these "Sub" laws are created to undermine the Constitution. All Illegal! Same holds true with all these Unelected agencies and bureaucrats that feel they have power. Legally they don't!Even if she was right, I still see no problem with this. The government has no authority to regulate firearms. They seem to enforce a lot of unconstitutional policy around them, but I have yet to see a "law" that has been created -- because none of this crap is lawful. The second amendment is clear precisely because it's vague. If lawmakers dislike it, they can do their job and call a convention.
Or superglue at a lesbian bar.Yeah, but they're morons.
If we lower the bar every time one of these idiots does something stupid, we're done for.
These are hanging in almost every building in NYC - totally unregulated. Imagine the hilarity if some enterprising prankster filled one with flammables, or pathogens, or poison. That doesn't mean we shouldn't have fire extinguishers.
