I also want to know. Been eyeing this up for awhile. Is any Benelli truly worth that much?Is it worth it? Even in "normal" times it runs close to $1800.00. Anyone have one?
The m4 is the best semi auto shotgun there is, imo. I believe it to be the most durable and reliable.I also want to know. Been eyeing this up for awhile. Is any Benelli truly worth that much?
If it's so well made, how was a friend able to convince you to not purchase it? Honest inquiry, no offense intended.I was just looking at this today. A friend talked me out of it.

I see it's already out of stock.
They are among the best made. Beretta also makes fine semi-auto shotguns. Quite a pain to disassemble I hear.
I don't need it. I was just browsing and it's a lot of money. If it's so well made, how was a friend able to convince you to not purchase it? Honest inquiry, no offense intended.

7 round tube with no evil features:I am new to shot guns/rifles in NY and was wondering if people can chime in what configuration of Beneli M4 will be legal in Westchester county NY. Not that I can find these in stock anywhere, but if I can - what configuration can I have and what can I not?
Thank you

Benelli M1 cycles with inertia M4 is gas driven by two pistons. Is the M4 a modern version of the M1?
I have no experience with this particular beretta and beretta makes great guns but I compared the Beneli montfeltro vs the beretta A300 and A400 and I hated the berettas. Very heavy and clunky. Shouldered horribly. I shrimped and saved for 18 months to get the Beneli and I’m not sorry not for a moment.I wanted an M4 for the "cool" factor and because of the legend behind it. Settled on a Beretta 1301 Tactical. Cost me like $1200-1300? Bought the Nordic tube and clamp and the Mesa Urbino pistol grip stock (maybe $250?). I've read multiple places, for what it's worth, that the 1301 handles light and heavy loads, a complaint that some people have about the M4. It worked for me with slugs, 00 buck and #8 bird. It's also faster I believe (though honestly, I'm not sure who runs shotguns that fast to notice) than the M4.
Unless you want an M4 because of history/Hollywood/cool factor, 1301 is probably a smarter buy. Not that the M4 is a bad gun, I just think it's an old design and newer ones are just as good or better and a lot cheaper too.
Mesa tactical makes a nice shorter fixed stock for it dont believe too pricey.I bought mine for $1400 back in 2013. Take down and cleaning is pretty easy. Parts/upgrades can be pricey though. I left mine stock as is. I've run shooting drills with friends where I'd shoot about 100-200 rounds of a mix of buck shot and slugs, handles the recoil very well and allows for fast follow up shots. I've also used it for shooting clay, while not ideal with its sights, it's worked pretty well. My only complaint is the "civilian stock" it comes with is a longer full stock, wish it was a bit shorter. I'd upgrade but again, parts are expensive. 10/10 shotgun for me

I’m not sure if it’s the same as the one I have on my 1301, but it’s a great stock. The pistol grip is a little chunky, but limb saver is nice and has an adjustable comb piece. Good value.Just checked out their site, I think i'll be grabbing one. $140-160 is a realistic price for me so thanks for suggesting them. When things get $200+, that's when I prioritize other things (like ammo or a red dot haha)
