Just curious. In almost every red flag confiscation, who collected the guns?
Almost every “red flag” confiscation is legitimate. Most never make the news (like all other police activity) because they go smoothly and are uncontroversial. Removing guns from domestic violence offenders happens routinely for example, and no one bats an eye.
Remember my position since this became the hot topic. Most of what these new laws constitute is not new and has been in place for years. Judges have always been able to order gun removal. At the risk of starting something even worse, I’ll tell you something you should also already know: a cop on scene can make that decision as well in many cases. I’ve removed guns a few times based on my order when the situation dictated leaving them would possibly lead to further violence.
Not every gun removal is a violation of the 2nd Amendment. People do things which necessitate taking their guns away from them. That’s always been the case.
But back to the video:
All we have here is an anti-cop lisper who wants to validate HIS “us vs them” agenda by bringing cops into his Beto’s fantasy world. If you expect someone like me to assume a prostrate position and beg for forgiveness based on the asinine comments of a no-shot presidential candidate, you have another thing coming. I’d hope most cops have the balls to respond the same way to people like this guy.
He’s clearly an enemy to my safety as he seeks to incite hatred against me under the guise of a superfluous connection he’s created in his own world. Fuck him. I’d have no problem shooting him if it ever came down to that and I’d be proud of it.

AB, I don’t think the majority hate cops personally because they just hate cops . They hate what cops do and what will do. It’s only natural to hate an organization who’s sole purpose is to enforce laws passed by our oppressors that restrict our lives. If you are a cop, it’s a damned if you do or don’t situation and I understand that.
Sure cops do many good things and are needed. But at a certain point, they have to just say no. And if we are talking about legitimate red flag threats, then those threats should be removed from society rather than just taking guns away.
People like the Yankee Marshal just bring awareness based on facts. Nothing he said was wrong. He’s just stating the facts. I mean cops today that think they are pro gun wouldn’t hesitate to arrest me for having an SBR or a 3 rd burst M4 if they stumble upon it whether by accident or from a call from someone else. That’s a fact. That cannot be disputed. So if you ask me if I love and support cops that will enforce those laws, my answer would be no. They aren’t supposed to enforce gun laws at all being that it’s a violation of their oaths.
On the other hand as people, I have no issues with them if they are genuinely good people. I would have a beer and a shot of Jamo with you any day. But if I happened to run into you on duty open carrying in NYC, I’m sure you can see why I would hate the badge you wear because you’d be forced to violate your oath against me.

Beto will never be in position to affect me. His candidacy is going nowhere and after this he’ll fade away. He didn’t make enough of an impact to further his political career in any way.

You supported confiscating guns under certain circumstances.
There are no circumstances where that is appropriate.
I pointed out how any circumstance you think justifies confiscating guns does not. It is a futile gesture if your goal is to protect someone from a violent abuser. If something must be done, then that something *must* be locking up the abuser.
