I dont believe that has them concerned at all. How much obvious shit have they just forged ahead with while Republicans talk about investigations and indictments and it goes nowhere. Trumps biggest issue is he has NO BACKING in DC from either side. All of the, or most of the Repubs that claim loyalty to Trump are full of shit. All the Dems and Repubs are "on the same team", they are all dirty and wont let any of their comrades go down. Trump gets convicted on some bullshit business related shit, meanwhile major crimes are being committed related to the border and not even a whisper about any accountability.
This debate was all part of a plan, the fact that CNN moderators sat by and let Brandon waffle thru it without any of the built in protections they set up with the new rules is quite telling.

Its looking like Bathhouse Barry and some others in the administration had a sit down with Brandon telling him he should step aside.

Then the commie dem financers /big campaign donors got wind and said they're backing Brandon. I guess they like the braindead puppet they can control over someone who can think for themselves and might go rogue.

Now Obummer & Co are backing down, and the media is starting to say that last nights train wreck was a win for Poopy Pants.

If there weren't so much at stake, this would be hysterical.

They won't have him resign. There's no reason to.

They'll just have him withdraw from the race and run out the clock on the presidency.

I get what you're saying and agree to an extent but I think you're being a bit nihilistic or I'm being naive. I just figured joe ran for POTUS to cover his corrupt dealings and not because of Charlottesville or that he loves this Country, just for his own selfish reasons and to protect his rotten family. And that losing that control and party protection would concern him. Maybe I got it wrong.

Sure Repubs as a power party are feckless, but I'm hopeful things will be different in the RNC with Lara Trump. And Trump will have the good sense to shitcan the leadership at DOJ, FBI, DHS, etc. But yeah I know, hope in one hand shit in the other, right?

But yeah, I don't doubt there's a plan, just not sure FJB will go along quietly, that's all.

to be honest, after the concerns raised during the last election, the dems don't have to run a top notch candidate. We all know they don't have one anyway.

They will have to oust him to get someone in there, even as a VP, so there is somewhat of a name recognition/incumbent advantage to them.
bounce Dementia Shitspants and put Lack-of-gag-reflex in and have her appoint their new candidate as V.P. Then have her do something to buy votes (release more strategic oil to try to force down prices, give out more free money, whatever). Make sure she knows that she is NOT TO RUN for Prez spot by offering her a lucrative buyout/cushy high paying position in the new regime.
Then they can run their chosen candidate.
