Beck and Bongino BOTH had long dialogs about that elephant, unambiguously asking the question of WHO is really in control, and WHY isn't anything being done about it? See, this is the real elephant in the Room that few speak of and fewer have a solution (other than civil war/rebellion which completely fucks the situation) of what is being done to correct this unconstitutional condition and by definition, treasonous acts?
I dare say there are tens of thousands, maybe even Millions of Sunshine Patriots who want action, but very few actually able to coordinate and command actions to save the Republic....it's not as simple as 1776.
People will fight harder to gain freedom than keep it because they already know the alternative.
And those that fought in 1776 gave up a lot to join the fight if it meant no longer being able to provide for their families survival by tending the crops, livestock, etc. or just working.
Today we pay better to fight foreign wars and the basics of survival are easier.
Today's man will only fight if there is significant gain or everything to lose. Anywhere in between....forgetaboutit.

Another factor about civil war most don't talk about is this.....
Today life expectancy for a male is ~80 y/o + or -.
You'd expect a male today to join the fight if they were 70+. Getting older, not as many years left on the table. Not as much to lose. But this group certainly isn't as formidable a force as well trained 18-30 y/o's.
Back in 1776 the average life expectancy of a male was 35-40 y/o.
With the same 'what the hell' attitude as today, back then guys in their mid 20's+ would probably pick up arms. Those guys were a hell of a lot more formidable than today's 70 y/o's.
The longer life expectancy of today means the best fighting forces have a lot more to lose today than back in 1776.
Just one more underlying factor.

I think the best line was the media isn't angry they found out Joe has dementia they are angry the rest of us found out. Joe Scarborough on "morning Joe" has proven to be such a laughingstock. If he had any sense of shame he would kill himself. Of course, as a journalist, he doesn't.
All this talk about "who is running the country" shouldn't be new to anyone who has been paying attention. I've been asking that question for 3+ years now. My guess is Obama. There was a story years ago how all of biden's top aides were spending all kinds of time at Obama's residence in DC. It never became the top news story it should have.

The Republicans should all jump on the support Biden to continue bandwagon.
They should play along and agree that Biden should keep on keeping on. And promote what some of the Democrats like Gavin Newsom are saying about still supporting Biden.
At the very least promote that Kamala Harris is the logical transition.
Those are the two dipshits that Trump or anyone else would want to run against.

It's interesting that Slate has always been a left-leaning rag - it was once owned by the WaPo. I wish we were witnessing a real time slo-mo course correction in some of these media outlets but it's probably just a a short lived example of what happens when reality slaps the shit out of your cognitive dissonance.
This Hamas/Israel conflict is a huge problem for the left. And could even be for Big Mike, maybe the only person that could save dems from the fallout of FJB crapping his Depends on live TV. And the person with the best chance of gathering the funding to beat Trump. I don't think any of the other potential replacements can do the same. Sure, the MSM will carry some of their water, but there's just little time left for big donors to be assured their bribe money will get them the influence they're trying to buy. The money in joe's warchest won't just transfer to some replacement. Money-wise, campaigns operate like business entities unto themselves. Even if it all got turned over to the DNC, there's going to be a lot of competition among down-ballot candidates screaming for their share to overcome the damage done.
Big Mike has a potential problem in that his/her husband has a history of playing both sides - his "political face" of superficially supporting Israel and his private Islamic ties. Anyone remember the Jeremiah Wright kerfuffle, his anti-Semitic pastor and mentor? Mike can't escape Barry's history. Big Mike has no political experience and is nothing more than an extension of Barry.
I sure didn't have "pro-hamas protestors crash a pride parade" on my Bingo card. But here it is and I guess what happens when you have no real core values and just try to court every poor, helpless victim-status-seeking activist group that comes along.
