Bill introduced to automatically register New Yorkers as organ donors unless the opt out

A new bill introduced by Assemblyman Pat Burke would automatically enroll New York residents 18 years of age or older as organ donors unless they choose to opt-out of the registry.

“I’m introducing this legislation because I want to start a conversation about how we can get more people on the organ donation registry, and ultimately save more lives,” said Burke.

The legislation that Burke is proposing would create a space on the driver's license applications for applicants to opt-out of of the New York State organ and tissue donor registry.

I want to start a conversation so I'll make a law saying you will be a donor (unless you know about opting out). Sounds fair to me. While I too felt strongly that being an organ donor was the right thing to do, I too will opt out. These fucks reach up our asses so often we begin to get used to it. Must have a 10 year smoke detector, check. Must have your lights on when using wipers, check. Do not drive on the shoulder, check. Where does it end?

I obviously don't belong here either. Other states the people DO have a say, and here we get bullshit. "I support your views on __________ , but I'm not going to take it seriously and support you when we vote on it" says our Democrap and RINO leaders. Conform and live with it, or leave.
My retirement may be much different than I planned at first. I may find myself moving to (any State but New Yorkistan) and living in a cheap apartment with my 2 gun safes, and my "shit" in storage. Totally worth it though...

Many people have living wills which state their desires. Not being aware of having to opt out lead to contradictory desires. People being forced to be kept viable on machines while courts decide.
