Magpul Bipod is a good one for the money. It's designed to have some play in the legs until you put a forward load on it afterwhich it is solid.

I just bought one of these. Accu-shot makes a great product.
@GTN it is double the price but they are excellent bipods and you get what you pay for.

I have 3 harris and a couple.of $30 harris clones that work exactly the same. All I did replaced the swivel with proper sturdy bottom rail and long stud locker.
I am open to test other options but either of these work great.
The Cadwell are also chinese made but the flimsy type based on what people report.

What are the Harris clones?

I may get some flak for this but I bought this bipod after using a friend’s rifle with this UTG bipod on it. I actually have a few of these. Keep in mind I also have 2 Atlas and one Harris on my heavier rifles. 10 years ago I would have laughed until I was blue in the face if you told me you wanted a UTG bipod. This one is solid and has not had any problems in the last few years I have had them. This one is on an LR 308.

Anything I have bought UTG was of good quality also. If that holds up to your .308, sounds good to me.

They go by various names in ebay and amazon. I ordered from a link in the longrangehunting forum.
Again one can tell they are not the harris but they are not a $100 dollar difference neither.
They are compatible with the harris. actually the spring in the clones is stronger than the harris ones. lol.
Also for me I have a small bottom rail in every rifle so having a strong interface and the pod locker is key.

This is one of the BS clone names. UTG might be also the same thing but not sure . Again the key is to stay away from shitty swivel studs even with the harris ones, something one can fix with a $2 part + interface. More times than not people dont properly mount bipods, scopes and other equipment.
Also dont drink so much coffee before you go looking for those groups and then blame the bipod! lol

I have two UTG scopes, both on heavy calibers and surprisingly they have held up well.
