Senator Collins is a gifted orator and this is her best delivery I have heard, her message was well thought, and her conclusions were sound. I certainly was not confident she would have stood strong against the mob and she has friends on both sides of the aisle who could have influenced her.

I don't think I've ever had anything good to say about Collins. But, she gave an excellent, well-reasoned, thoughtful speech about the process, the nominee, and just what advice and consent means. Well done.

Look what this process has done:
- Sen. Collins became a Republican (maybe)
- Sen. Grassley woke up and took on the Dems
- Sen. Graham became a badass and shouted down the monsters in open session
- Democrat schemes to destroy a decent man were laid bare for the nation
- Booker proved he is a moron
- Harris showed she is little more than an opportunistic whiner
- Whitehouse embarrassed himself asking about farting in a committee hearing
- Schumer will have failed to derail the nomination
- And...Republicans are charged up and galvanized to vote in the 2018 midterm elections.
