no plans on buying from washington county but any dealer that would sell a non function firearm that is also broken and not stand behind their sale isn't anyone I'd want to buy from. they obviously don't clean or function test their used firearms
He didnt say They were gay. Cmon now man.I would 100% out them on here over this, totally unacceptable for them not to take care of you.
That is cool. However it says in the discription that it won't work with Chiappa.I used one of these adapters in a psa lower so I could use a S&W mag. Works well and has last round lock back.

Very generous of you.Assuming that the rifle can take a standard AR-15 upper I will gladly donate one for free to help out Dylan if someone can help him fix it. I am unfortunately too far being in downstate to render assistance.
Keep me updated!
No apology necessary man, I was just pointing it out. That is a cool product though and I had no idea it existed. I have a 15-22 and a 22 conversion bolt so this adapter would be useful.sorry. Just remembered buying it

that’s what I had figured. I brought it back to the dealer and was basically told that I caused this to break (no piece to be found anywhere). I believe I overlooked this as I didn’t pull the rear pin when looking at the store. I was also told this wouldn’t affect the rifle in anyway. I guess I will cut my losses with this one and not return to where I bought this. I should have inspected it better when purchasing.
thank you all for the help. Any recommendations on an upper?
First you're a pirate, now you're an antique? As an antique myself

Never knew that you were a "C&R" collector. He'd be receiving a Summons to Small Claims Court if it were me.
As an antique myself, I buy antiques that I never fire.
And used C&R's that I do.
I certainly don't expect a dealer to test fire every firearm. But you bought a gun that should work, not a collectible.
Never knew that

I have an old hinged-frame H&R revolver that may or may not interest you. Proofed for black powder (no caliber markings). .32 S&W (cartridges loaded with black powder unavailable since about 1940 as you probably already know), nickel plated maybe 60-70% remaining, 5" barrel. Not looking to get rich off it, just don't need it.
I would have to ship it '01' FFL because it's on my NYS PP.
Thank you for the quick reply. I will post pics in the very near future. Too lazy to go upstairs right now and grab it out of the safe for a 'photo op'.Thanks for the offer !
I'm certain we'd all love to see some pics.
But I'm at a point where I'm not really actively collecting anymore.
The .32 S&W was at one time the most popular civilian cartridge, and oddly enough was responsible for the most deaths by gunshot outside of war.
But that was due more to the lack of antibiotics and more surgical techniques than anything else.
And yeah, real hard to find these days except as antique cartridges themselves.
What's the difference between the .32 s&w then and the modern .32 s&w? I actually didnt know they had a BP variant. Thanks for the offer !

Because the PP Dept. asks who it was transferred to, and if I sold it out of state, I would need a receipt from an FFL showing that it had been removed from the state thru legal channels.not sure why u need a FFL its BP .. ( you don't have the stuff to shoot it ) ..
i sold it .. remove it . nuff said ..
The .32 S&W was first available loaded in black powder, later with smokeless. Smokeless powder would blow up an old hinged frame revolver not designed for it.What's the difference between the .32 s&w then and the modern .32 s&w? I actually didnt know they had a BP variant.
It takes black powder in a metallic cartridge, so it isn't considered a "black powder" pistol, where the powder and projectile are loaded separately.not sure why u need a FFL its BP .. ( you don't have the stuff to shoot it ) ..

Ok, was wondering because the .32 s&w is very popular for bullseye, think they call it precision shooting now. One of my Benelli MP 95's was chambered in that. Not uncommon to drop 10 rounds in one hole. The .32 S&W was first available loaded in black powder, later with smokeless. Smokeless powder would blow up an old hinged frame revolver not designed for it.
Later came the .32 S&W 'Long', more powder, heavier bullet. At one time a very popular cartridge for law enforcement.
Exactly. These are all very old and basically obsolete cartridges. They were designed for use with cartridges loaded with black powder, later loaded with smokeless. There was an overlap where both black powder and smokeless powder cartridges were both available. 2 others were the .38 and .44 Specials. It takes black powder in a metallic cartridge, so it isn't considered a "black powder" pistol, where the powder and projectile are loaded separately.
