They are a laughing stock. I used to watch Dog, the bounty hunter just for a good laugh.

What a fool this guy is. The fugitive won't get any sympathy from me, but maybe if this guy had been licensed he would have known he couldn't enter that specific home. It's a slap in the face to those who have lost nights and weekends going through the proper training and licensing process.

After everything has shaken out it would seem that the fugitive did not list this address as his residence as a condition of his bail, which would have allowed the raid by licensed agents. Of course that was unknown at the time of the original story. So I wonder how they came upon this house and believed him to be there.

Finally, this dummy essentially got himself his jail sentence by not cooperating, not showing up for appointments, not answering calls. What an idiot. I'm glad the properly licensed individuals faced no charges. Their job is hard enough. Was there ever any update on the fugitive? Was he apprehended? Did he have the same or a similar name to his brother? This is why it's important to do your homework!

Well, you spent all that time getting licensed, and you still thought they were A OK if only they had that precious license in hand they would have been fine.

So, maybe the licensing doesn't do much at all.

Would have been legal if licensed and the other factors were met, like it being the right house. Things shake out over the course of time. Point was no warrant is needed or even available.

I said numerous times that that had no right to enter the tenants house last time and couldn’t just house hop and you defended them. That’s my point here.

So you can’t differentiate the difference from paperwork, licenses, correct address etc being correct and it not being? Point is you want to use info after the fact to argue against things said as it was a breaking incident. Sorry. Don’t work that way. Point is everyone cried “no warrant” I said “none required”. That is absolutely the case. Other things that were wrong and discovered after the fact are moot in regards to original statements. Try to do better next time.

Bounty hunters in New York must have at least three years of professional law enforcement experience. This may include experience as a police officer, an investigator in a state or federal agency, or an employee of a private investigator, or 20 years of experience as a fire marshal.

In addition to work experience, BEAs must complete an approved 25-hour training course. Once you select the institution and course you wish to take, you must submit the course approval application 60 days before the BEA training course is scheduled to occur and pay the $25 registration fee (as of February 2016). If you served as a police officer for at least three years, the training component for BEA licensure can be waived.

After satisfying the education and experience requirements, you must apply to the Division for licensure. Your application must include:

• The $400 licensure fee (as of February 2016)
• Your social security number
• A signed DMV consent form
• Proof of electronic fingerprinting
• A sworn statement from the employers under whom you have experience, including employment dates, a description of activities, and hours worked**
• A sworn statement from three people who have direct knowledge of your professional work experience

There is no new information coming out other than the one guy wasn’t licensed. We knew immediately that they went to the moms house, this guys house, and entered the tenants house. That was all in the original article. You said above they entered the wrong address and can only enter the address on the bail bondsmen paperwork as they did.

I suggest you go back and read the other thread. Here are a few snapshots. You can see I bring up they enter multiple houses and you say it’s ok they don’t need a warrant. Now you say they can’t only the address on the paperwork or if the fugitive was there. Now you’re backtracking again. I don’t care after this. If you can’t admit I brought up multiple times in the previous thread they entered multiple houses and you defended that as legal action I can’t help you anymore.

They can't enter that house without a warrant.

In fact, they entered several houses during this incident, at most one of which could have been authorized without a warrant, if it was their target's residence, *and* they had all their other paperwork in order.

Just based on the original information, it was obvious to everyone except you that they had violated the law.
