#1 agree your all old....
#2... we need the blizzard of 2020!!!! I could use a couple days off.
I know, We get a shit ton of snow sometimes, but at least my house is still there. Some poor bastards have to deal with fire, floods, tornados, Hurricanes , and losing everything they own in a matter of hours or minutes . I have to plow the driveway. Not a bad trade off.
I remember the blizzard of 77 well. it was incredible. My cousin lived in Cheektowaga, which is a suburb and had mostly 1 level ranches about 10-12 foot to the gutter All you could see was the chimneys, The wind was blowing so hard , pushing drifts well over 20 foot , some spots were down to the pavement .I walked right up to a signal light lol. Anyone with a snowmobile was asked to help deliver medicine and food. the national guard came started using payloaders to clear the main roads . A lot of snow was dumped in Delaware park . So much snow that it didn't all melt the whole summer , small piles were still there by next November .
