Why would I try to trick anyone into supporting an anti 2a organization?
And yet, in 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. Ok. So who are they? SAF is great with lawsuits, but doesn't do much lobbying.
GOA is good for a laugh once in a while, but their outreach doesn't go past preaching to the choir. I like Firearm Coalition too, but I think we have more members of this forum than they have. I already support these groups.
What other group should I support? Who's the one that's going to make the difference?
Those are a great start and what helps is information, especially to fudds and boomers who suck off the NRA Let them know about the actual 2A organizations and all the damage that the NRA had done and continues to do.
Instead of sitting around saying oh well these groups are small so we need to also keep the NRA because they are big.
Sorry but the NRA has fallen the sooner people understand that, the sooner we can get them over to the organizations like SAF, and sooner a new NRA can even be built from the ground up thanks to Save The 2nd

We have one guy here who resorts to insults when he cannot counter facts and another here who ignores points already made about how other organizations cannot grow because the NRA exists.

Ok Bernie. Where else doesn't the free market work? NRA has less than 5% of US gun owners - hardly a monopoly. There's 95% more for other groups to pull from.
The only thing keeping other organizations from prospering and growing is their inability to convince people that they provide a valuable enough service to be worth joining.
Most of the gun owners and shooters I know support multiple pro-2A groups. It doesn't have to be one or nothing.

Correct. Not a monopoly since others exist. People like you who support them keep them alive which in turn causes other organizations not to grow and more people thinking that they should just support the biggest. So I guess gun owners have spoken. Keep an anti gun organization alive. Either that or ignorance on what the NRA actually does and doesn’t do.
I suspect the latter since most gun owners have no clue on how hurtful the NRA has actually been. Perhaps if threads like this keep appearing everywhere, people will open their eyes. It’s worked before. This forum is proof. Lots of people changed their minds since threads like this have been popping up.

You still haven’t countered my points Comrad. Tell me how another organization can grow to be the biggest and lead the way in court case challenges if the majority of the money goes to the NRA because of people like you and others thinking that they have the support the biggest.
In theory what you say is correct. Sure another organization can overtake the NRA but in real life it doesn’t work that way just like in theory pure communism can work but in real life it doesn’t. Or a mom and pop hardware store can make more profit than the Home Depot down the road. Yes. In theory they can. But fucking reality is a motherfucker.

Correct. May not have succeeded. Inaction is a sure way to not succeed however. They pleaded with Alan Gura to not fight the DC handgun ban. If he would have listened, DC and Illinois would still have the ban.
It's amazing how fast the "MY RIGHTS COME FROM GOD/THE CONSTITUTION/THE BOR/ETC!" people turn into "MY RIGHTS COME FROM THE NRA!" when they can't accept the fact they are being played as fools and scammed.
