California’s high-capacity magazine ban was just STRUCK DOWN by Judge Benitez, an extremist, right-wing zealot with no regard to human life.

Any ammendment that repeals one of the bill of rights is effectively dissolving the constitution, and the legitimacy of the federal government with it.

Just saying.

And a higher court will overrule this 50X faster than if it were an unconstitutional "law" imposed by a Fascist Regime like happens in NYS every year. Victory my ass. The system is beyond rigged.

Very true. However, it's not like the military (the only entity that could and should quickly resolve the matter in the favor of the people) would do anything about it. Not until they actually realize that their *cough* "elected" civilian handlers are in fact, thee greatest domestic enemy of our time.

What you are saying is if the magazine ban was lifted due to a Supreme Court decision, NY would apply the same principles to magazines that they do to ammo.

Background checks to buy a magazine, additional fees on the sale of magazines, etc. etc. etc....

I'm saying that New York State is going to do whatever the hell the want to do, regardless of what the Supreme Court says. Decades of unchecked corruption and arrogance have led New York lawmakers to feel like they can get away with whatever the hell they want. Herr Cuomo STILL thinks he's innocent and is actively trying to take down the people whom he thinks are responsible for his downfall.

Interesting .... The judge in California said that mags are part of the gun ... NY could treat that as if it is part of the gun you need a Background check to purchase one ... And a need to register them ...

Background checks with renewals (annual, monthly, weekly ?) to *possess* magazines.

And they can probably only be reloaded by a licensed gunsmith.

Yep. They would at least try. It’s a the last gasp type effort . It buys them time . Time to try to overall the supreme court as Justices expire.
