Can I use a 10 round mag for hunting?

Read that as you will, but it looks to me that your 10rd mag (and mine) are both perfectly fine in our bolt guns.

I also had this discussion with @NirvanaFan recently, so it's fresh in my mind.

Exactly why when I hunt with my 7.5” AR pistol in 6.8 spcII I can have a 10 round Mag. Why do I need a 10round Mag? Because I do damage control and when a literal heard comes in.... 10rounds goes fast.

Right, because it is a semi auto gun. Pump, bolt, and lever action guns (that aren't .22) can have up to 10 in the mag when hunting big game.

That is what I thought. 5 is more than plenty for hunting.
Actually if someone needs more than 2 or 3 max then they better find another thing to do.
