I've thought about this before and the video made me think about it again. In a civil war scenario how will you know who to shoot if everyone is running around in camo? Then I remembered I had the epiphany back then and am sticking with it now. Shoot anyone that's not you!

I really don't think survival is all about guns or ammo. I think it comes down to the mindset of the individual. Not just the mindset to survive; the mindset and the will to do what needs to be done in order to survive.
I do not believe those of the left, mentality have it. They are weak minded and soft. Sure, there are always some in a group that will not fit the stereotype, but many (most do). The idea of a Safe Space to shield against others' thoughts, ideas and feelings. The Speech Police that are out patrolling college campuses. Their core beliefs are just wrong. They truly believe that all men are equal, everyone should have the same opportunities. They, deep down inside, think life should be fair. Nearly everything these Libtards believe in is wrong. The majority could not fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Eating cat/dog food when you run out of people food for survival is one thing. But to pack a BOB with cat food when you are able to pack it with nutritious GOOD tasting people food is just nonsensical.

I look around my neighborhood and think the same thing. There is one guy down the street from me that seems like a gunny like myself. All others have no guns, ammo, water, or anyway to get food. I figure there’s enough little fuzzies around me and I have tons of .22 I can out live them and then scavenge off thier shit. I know the perfect house to get a wood stove and wood from.

Can confirm. My kids got a kick out of me trying dry cat food. It's not terrible. Salty and a bit bland. Tastes better than tofu (I'm not kidding).
You'll need to make yourself look at incompetent as them or else you'll be a target.
First thing I'd do would be to hide the bulk of my food somewhere so that I look like I'm almost out like everybody else.
This a pretty good video. Points out how much food you can get for almost no money at all. And a great shelf life on all this stuff. This is why I have no sympathy for people hitting grocers before a storm or whining after a hurricane that FEMA hasn't restocked them yet.

I’ll have plenty of people at my house to watch things. My mom has huge food stores and is only a half mile away. My dads a cop and will be there, I’ll be there, my brother in law who was in the army will be there, and my father in law. We should be able to hold the fort down, but yes my plan is to use bb or pellet guns as long as I can to stay below the radar. I need to stock up on some pellets and bbs and another good solid pellet gun. I also need some water tablets.
