Nope. They are explicitly blocking and impeding. They have parked trucks in intersections in Ottawa with the intent to shut down passage.

I have the same view of them as I did of blm protestors blocking traffic: summary removal & arrests. Protest if you like, but do not impact commerce and legal passage.
I fully expect many here who support the wanton, deliberate impeding of traffic to cry foul next time left wing protesters do the same thing. The lesson continually driven home to me that the bulk of the right are no different than those on the left. Easily manipulated voters, blindly loyal.

I desire only that they have no power to involve me in their insane plans whatsoever.

Both countries have been severely eroding the rights of citizens mainly since 9/11. I've seen it with my own eyes. They took COVID as the right opportunity to gain more control.

Look at NYS with the mask mandate. Here we have a prime example of a huge group of people in indoor and outdoor spaces without masks some vaxxed, some not. Why is Horechul enforcing masks? Because no one is stopping her. Even the court of law doesn't stop her.

I think one significant difference that seems to be passed over in this apple to oranges comparison of protests, is that the convoy is not destroying property, setting fires or assaulting people who display an opposing view (or just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time). BLM would have had a whole lot of traction with more people if they had in fact confined their protest activity to this sort of thing, rather than wanton looting, arson and vandalism.

This is an assertive petitioning the government for a redress of grievances.

The Western Convoy was unable to make it all the way into downtown Ottawa. This clip shows a grader and snow plow along with police blocking the route.
