Good, bring it on. Arrest all the truckers and put then in jail, who then will transport your goods, fuel, medicine, food etc? There’s not enough members of the military to operate all the trucks needed to keep everything moving.

on a side note I support the truckers as long as they don’t shut down traffic and block emergency vehicles. If someone dies because an ambulance or fire truck couldn’t get to them, then you lose my support.

It's fun thinking about this stuff when you see even just one sector of the industry get mandated.

Nothing against nurses, but honestly, they could've done the same thing. I don't want to say nurses are weak, trust me, there are plenty that vocalized their concerns, but it does prove a point that not all industries are the same.

I betcha they thought truck drivers were going to cave like nurses did. Boy oh boy were they wrong.

I am enjoying every minute of this. I like the fact that it's peaceful and it shows that people do care about one another.

Food for thought, most nurses are women and most truckers are men. I find it interesting that most women I know are willing to comprise on things in the name of getting along and avoid conflict, whereas most men I know are willing to stand their ground and burn bridges if they have too.

Not to be prejudice, but it's a fact that women are more willing to compromise. This shows it.

Not saying women can't have power, it's just that they need the help from men and vice versa. What I mean about vice versa, is there have been times that I put the horse blinders on and keep going after an issue, until a women tells me, "Can't you just reason?!", then it opens my eyes which has sometimes lead me in the right direction. Sometimes to be very thankful that a woman changed my stance on something.

Personally, I think it's more of a care issue -- they are literally willing to die to be in their profession to take care people. Human nature taking it's place. Just like a woman is willing to do anything to save their baby.

However, what I do have a problem with is how the .gov took advantage of the human nature aspect of that profession. That does not sit well with me. To be frank, it's disgusting.

The solution for this is mass non compliance. Everyone who was going to show up, do so. Mind you this strategy is more effective when you have critical mass and it’s not a small handful of easily isolated individuals.

Okay! Now the crowd and non-traditional media is to the point that the planned spin of the legacy media is no longer viable.
Now is the time to "activate" the "informants" spread throughout the crowd in front of those legacy media cameras.
All we need is one act of violence to turn the growing narrative. CNN on standby waiting for the cue.

If it were the US I’d say you’re right, but I’ve never met anyone so culturally indoctrinated (for lack of a better word, my mental thesaurus is out to lunch) to inoffensiveness as your average Canadian. Hell, they’ll hold the door for you and apologize for the draft…

Besides, the CBC is busily painting a picture of Russian interference, probably best to let them continue the farce. Never interrupt the enemy when he is making a mistake, and all that.

To have just stopped commerce would have been a protest..... This is a movement... Make no mistake... This has engaged the nation. .. A nation of average working people whose biggest act of defiance would be to complain about a tax bill being too excessive... This is energizing a nation and a world fed up with government overreach. .. Folks are out cheering this movement on all all along the route ... many in dangerous wind chills .. Folks that cannot make the trip but can hand out a simple thing as a sandwich or buy a few bottles of washer fluid. .. One older fellow said ... I have not seen anything like it ... except when the boys left for the big war... Massive pride.

I have read that they will shut down Ottawa for as long as it takes until the mandates are lifted... ALL of them... Money is being gathered to assist in lodging and food. This is beyond the go fund me. account. When some need to depart others will step in. ... Now that said... How much pushback will come from the government. $10,000 fine for parking where we now see trucks... One thing that can happen is a massive slowdown of the highways. Trucks hardly moving night and day grinding the city to a stand still. Perhaps even an embargo of commerce into the city of some sort. ... Both side can play hardball.

Just refuse to haul any freight in or out of Ottawa. Maybe everybody takes a 1-2 month long vacation.

I was thinking about that the other day: the simplest is to cut the Air Compressor discharge line as the Trucks all have spring Brakes that cannot be released without 100psi of air (unless you crawl under the axles and "cage" the brake chamber with a special bolt) There are lots of things that can be done to take a Truck out of Service.
