Violence did not just “break out” at Unite The Right. Attendees were attacked—by Leftists and by the police. They worked together as seamlessly as if they had common leadership.
Despite this, or perhaps because of it, the System’s most shameless courtiers, Main Stream Media journalists, are trying to blame Unite The Right participants.
As Antifa openly slash tires, attack activists (and random bystanders) and parade under symbols of Communist mass murder, it is not as though journalists do not see what is happening. No one can pretend it is pro-white demonstrators who are being violent or destroying property, not even reporters. However, like the city government, the journalists are determined to disguise this reality
Every monument, building, roadway and person in this nation could be offensive to native Americans.
Wheres the outrage from the left about that.

If a majority of americans agree, things will change.

It shouldn't come down to skin heads and other neo-nazis having protests in the streets; irrespective of the topic they are pissed about. White supremacists have no place in this country. They should go to Germany if they think the Third Reich was such a great shake. In America; our grandparents fought against the neo-nazi concept. Your point about keeping monuments around is something I think any sane person would agree with. Especially national treasures like Stone Mountain. But the white supremacy / neo-nazi movement is nothing more than terrorism and no better than Islam. It's not enough to execute the one guy driving the car (which I am sure the federal government will do) - they should execute or deport every neo-nazi in America for the greater safety of the other 99.9% of our population.

Just wait. I predict in 10-15 years we're going to have to replace everything that holds the name George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, etc. Why? They were slave holders of course. They'll be replaced with whatever the cause dejour is. Perhaps the first gay whatever of the state or something like that. Now I'm not opposed to the first gay/transsexual/whatever getting a monument/statue, etc. but don't replace what's already there. We need to honor our history and our combined national heritage, warts and all.
The left/New World Order types are working overtime to dissolve any trace of our history by saying it's all about racism, hate, patriarchy, etc. They won't stop at one monument. They won't stop every. Hell, given enough time they'll fight to replace Martin Luther King, Jr. monuments because men are evil, rapist, pigs.

I get that many here don't like the DNC because of 2A; but at least learn the difference between far-left and far-right before you go on a tear about that protest that just happened. The far-right radicals had a white supremacist rally; the centrists and the moderate left counter protested; and then the far right radicals used a motor vehicle to try and execute a fee dozen of the counter protesters. Is the GOP trying to erase the history of Mussolini and Hitler and re-write it to make believe it was the far-left instead of the far-right?

OK that didn't sound too much like paranoid delusion........ The "normal" left and "normal" right Americans are fairly centrist. Only the radical left and radical right are loons; and they are in small numbers and fairly fringe. So if the far-left (Marx / Lenin) and the far-right (Hitler / Mussolini) try and pull their bullshit I think the centrists that make up 99% of America will stop it in it's tracks. The error here that happened is even giving a protest permit to Stormfront, KKK, Skinheads, and any other neo-Nazi group. We fought those bastards in WW II for fuck sake - why are we letting them have protests now? I hear an armed protest just went down in Houston about 8 weeks ago. Bunch of folks showed up with AR's and AK's to protest something doing with a Sam Houston statue or something. That could have gone very awry.

Didn't the cops in Baltimore do the same shit a few months back. Some big protests about a heroin addict getting executed in a police van; and the Popo were told by the Mayor and Chief to step back and just let the place burn to the ground - something like that?
When you hear about these kinds of stories and think back to Akai Gurley here in NY (unarmed black guy shot 50 times by NY cops for shits and grins) you come to realize there are some seriously fucked up people running around that should NOT be cops. Or that fat guy (Eric Garner?) who got executed by a couple of NY cops for selling someone a cigarette for a dollar. Cops paid the poor widow $5.9 million in that case. In the Akai Gurley case; cops paid his family $4M. Every time these NY cops whack people for laughs, our taxes go up and we effectively pay the families. And 99% of the time those asshole cops get off.

Lexington mayor says Confederate statues at courthouse will be moved

Mayor Jim Gray said Saturday he is taking steps to remove two controversial Confederate-era statues from the lawn of the former Fayette County Courthouse on Main Street.
Gray’s announcement came the same day as multiple people were killed and injured in Virginia after a vehicle drove into counter-protesters who had clashed with white nationalists around a Confederate-era statue in Charlottesville.
Gray said in a statement he will ask the Lexington-Fayette County Urban County Council at its Tuesday work session to take the first step — to ask a state military commission for permission to take down the statues of John Hunt Morgan and John C. Breckinridge. Gray said the vote was already in the works.

The Left Gets the Body they and the Media have sought for a Year
Back in June of last year during the time when the left was seeding Trump rallies with people to be beaten I wrote that the goal of this exercise was to create an election winning narrative.
This is the election year narrative they want and they will happily sacrifice the life of some useful idiot or many useful idiots to get it.
It was also my opinion that this goal was one of the reasons why the left was pretty much silent on the ANTIFA violence. There was the hope that one of these useful idiots might get him or her (or whatever pronoun said idiot choose to use) killed by a political opponent in order to lay the blame on Trump.
With the attempted murder of a group of GOP congressman and the near fatal wounding of Congressman Steve Scalise the need for such a body increased exponentially. While the media could and did treat said murder attempt as a one off, it was completely unacceptable to the narrative for the only potential murder victim of political violence during the Trump administration to be a republican congressman targeted by a Bernie Sanders Democrat. It was necessary, nay VITAL that somebody, anybody die for the cause of changing the narrative
And that brings us to Charlottesville.
I’ll tell you what is going to happen presuming it hasn’t happened already.
This is the body the left has been seeking for an entire year now that they have it they will use it to the best possible effect for the longest possible time. The facts of the case will be irrelevant in this exercise for the media and the left, although if they do favor the desired media/left narrative listed above (and for all I know they might) that will be a bonus extra that they will gratefully accept and run with

This will be true regardless of the facts of the case. at the earliest possible moment will elevate the dead person as a martyr to free speech. We will know everything possible about this person and he or she will become the only story the media will cover.
- The same media that did not suggest the culpability of Democrats pols or leftists in the attempted murder of Steve Scalise will insist that Republicans pols and Trump supporters as a whole are culpable for these deaths.

To me, pure libertarianism defines the middle. All other philosophies are to the left or right of it.
Left and right are on a different axis than authoritarianism or libertarianism, however, a purely libertarian system cannot be left or right, that is why i think it defines the middle. An authoritarian one can be either.
