Carbon fiber magazines?

I saw this and thought it was very interesting. I can see how these could be more durable, lighter, and more dependable. The prices isn’t bad either. I may get a few if the 10 rounds become available. I’d like some for my pistols if they come around.

That is not carbon fiber. That looks like fiber reinforced plastic to me, FRP as it's commonly known. It's nothing new, several manufacturers produce magazines from FRP Daniel Defense for instance. I'd bet that calling it carbon fiber, which is plied sheets of Kevlar fabric bound together with resin and baked in a kiln, is a marketing ploy.
I have two of tge DD magazines, they are a little lighter than a P-Mag and are more rigid as well. They seem to work well enough.

Of course it’s not all carbon fiber. Yes it’s the same type of construction as FRP paneling but FRP uses fiberglass and this should be carbon fiber fibers.
I’m glad you have something like it and they work better and are stiffer. That’s about what I expected. Stiffer, lighter, more reliable feeding. I’d pay a few bucks more for it.

Look around on the site, from what i can see, the 10 rounders are available in this carbon fiber.

Carbon fiber and kevlar are different materials.

Both (as well as fiberglass) are commonly used to make fiber reinforced plastics.

Carbon fiber is lighter and stiffer.

Kevlar is more durable.

Fiberglass is cheaper.

Everythings a trade off.
