Tying all the garbage in a bag and lift it up off the ground (in a tree). Etc., Etc... And yes, go to bed wearing sneakers, hahaha, cause you just got to be faster than your friend!
Yes, I know the basics, but with only one other person? I haven’t done that yet. I assumed not to sleep in the clothes you’ve eaten in as well and I’ve heard to tie the stuff up in a tree. I’ve also heard don’t use scented shampoo and what not, etc. etc.
the most time I’ve spent sleeping outside without going in was 4 days and 3 nights. I’ve had a few copperheads slither on past me only a few feet away and that scares the shit out of you! After that I slept 100% in my sleeping bag and made it so nothing would be able to get in. When I woke up the lack of oxygen hurt my head sooooo bad. I sleep in underwear with shoes next to me with socks over them so nothing crawls in but that’s about it. I have no issues sleeping in sneakers or boots, done it a million times.
I don’t possess a pistol yet lol, I was going to sleep with my Garand in my sleeping bag
I was hoping the bear would eat her to shut her up lmao

DEC will literally come out to the shooting site. Draw the trajectories, find the bullets, the cases. Map the trampled ground. Interview you and your friend 10 times looking for inconsistencies.
If you shoot a bear before it bites or claws a human, the odds are you will be charged by DEC.
And this is not a case of judged by 12 or carried by 6. Bear spray is about 100% effective and will not cause any of these issues.
People protection? That’s another issue.
Do not have the Garand loaded in your vehicle!!
