call me paranoid
Hahaha , love how that bear puts it’s paw up to keep the door from closing after bashing it in.call me paranoid
So @DoD1776
but he would be the first with the Grand Cock and not the Thumb LOL ..
Actually, a friend of mine took a bear about a month ago in Columbia County. Was coming around the farm quite often. It was a young DEC officer I believe that came out. He wasn’t happy but no charges.DEC will literally come out to the shooting site. Draw the trajectories, find the bullets, the cases. Map the trampled ground. Interview you and your friend 10 times looking for inconsistencies.
If you shoot a bear before it bites or claws a human, the odds are you will be charged by DEC.
And this is not a case of judged by 12 or carried by 6. Bear spray is about 100% effective and will not cause any of these issues.
People protection? That’s another issue.
