You're worried that your boss will fire you when he finds out you've been supporting throwing away the Constitution and converting America to a Socialist Country? Wouldn't you be all for it? After all, once America is a Socialist Country the government will be giving you the job they think is best for you (hint: it WON'T be the job you want!), will be [supposedly] giving you everything you need to live (BTW - free phones, social media, fancy cars, big houses etc., that's not NEEDED to live!). So all of your hard work will then go back to the Government to help provide for the rest of the people who can't or won't work.
You feel strongly enough to take a day off from work to march in a protest, in a public space, but don't want anyone to KNOW you're there?

I used to think of these types of people as simply misguided. But over time I have come to really dislike them. All they can do is repeat catch phrases like an unthinking robot (i.e. capitalism is the cause of racism, sexism, every other "ism" in the world). I think they are contemptible little rats and I don't have any sympathy for them at all. If she loses her job because her boss finds out what a stupid idiot she is - well, I don't have much sympathy.

You know how you can tell if someone is misguided? Socrates had a great method of finding this out -- the dialectic. You break down the assumptions both parties have, until you reach an impasse and have before you the base presumptions both people have.
I think a lot of differences go back to how we think about each other. Liberals, at their core, tend to be more on the side of Rousseau, and the idea that people are generally good at heart and want to work cooperatively innately. Contrasted with Hobbes, who thought people are generally self interested and engage in having a society because of the benefit it can give us as individuals.
I'm more of a Hobbesean. If you look at human history, and how power is often consolidated, it's very clear people are self interested. Those who grab for power will manipulate people into thinking that consolidation is for their own benefit (socialism), in order to make it easier for them to consolidate. Our founding fathers knew this, and wanted to give explicit powers to the people, in the form of the second amendment, precisely because they knew the self interested nature of man would propel another consolidation of power in due time.
