Well for one he could most likely get a suit in front of the supreme court ricky tick. He is after all a New Yorker and could on a personal level show standing for injury do to the safe act. I would imagine he could also direct his justice department to go after states not complying with Heller. I suppose he could also try to pass legislation on the federal level that would make AWB's illegal at the federal and state level. Maybe I'm wrong here though.

Priorities?? I mean, it's been up hill for him so far. Also he most likely knows the makeup of the court isn't worth the risk right now.

And what happens when the GOP loses the Senate in 2018? Another justice dies? He loses his reelection bid? We run out of cases to actually bring forth?

I don't know. I'm just saying, we may see some more significant 2A stuff once Gorsuch is in, but right now the focus is on immigration, healthcare, scandal of the day, and a GOP hell bent on losing it's majority. I'm not at the point yet where I feel I was lied to regarding Trumps position on guns, I just don't think he's had a lot of time to even come up for air with all the crap being slung.
