Chicago Mayor on Increase in Most Violent Crime: ‘Reparations’ Money Will Help​

On Wednesday’s broadcast of “CNN This Morning,” Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson responded to a question on an uptick in most violent crime categories in the city in 2023 by stating that homicides and shootings have fallen and money “for restoration and reparations” will help address the “cycle of violence” in the city.

Actually, the cycle of violence will explode onto the scene as the demographic prone to violence, uses it to obtain it from those who've been awarded the windfall! And that's a fact! Wait for it...

I want reparations for the Property my Great-Great-Great Grandfather had taken from him because of Emancipation...Property was seized by the Federal Government without compensation or due process. (not really, it's satirical, and my ancestor likely jumped off a Spanish Slave Ship off the Florida Coast)

There will be no reparations to BLM...............by flooding the cities with illegals, violence will likely increase as housing areas are taken over by force from BLM........it is a self correcting problem...........GLOCK helped this out immensely.

Sure. Retrieve it from the wealthy areas of Chicago. Arlington heights for starters. Why someone doesn't put a camera in the face of those wealthy folks and ask them their thoughts on it is beyond me. lol

I never let the opportunity pass when some idiot wants to show me and others their ignorance. It has saved me hundreds in wine and whiskey as no holiday party invites this year. Mission accomplished. :ROFL::salute:

Both spellings of the word, whiskey and whisky, are correct. The tricky part is matching the right spelling with the right country of origin. If you’re talking about a drink that’s been made in Scotland, Canada, or Japan, use the spelling without the e—whisky. When referring to drinks distilled in the United States or Ireland, use the e—whiskey.

Well the Mayor (and his cronies) undoubtedly were more "salve" than the other Hood-Rats, and therefor need a bigger cut, oh and don't forget administration fees...NOTHING but a money grab with a side effect of buying votes off the plantation.

Naw, I’m thoroughly aware that American distillates are sometimes labeled as whiskey, with the e. The best whisky is made in Scotland, specifically on Islay. Sure, it’s often aged in once-used American oak barrels from those same American whiskeys that I disparage. But, that’s just my opinion, man. Good whisky hath no e. Unless you’re asking about more than one of them, in which case, the plural of whisky has an e, as in whiskies. American versions are spelled in the plural similar to monkeys. American spirits are often produced in column stills, while good whisky is made in a pot still for a much more refined distillate. We haven’t even discussed barley vs corn yet. :beer:

And no amount of reparations can make corn into a good dram, but corn likker can lead to an increase in crime. (To return to the topic at hand.)

I want reparations for being a ginger and the use of the offensive quote " beaten like a red headed step child "
