Eight men were wounded Tuesday in shootings on the South and West sides, including three who were critically injured in separate incidents, according to Chicago police.
In the city's most recent critical shooting, two men, 31 and 26, were in a vehicle when someone fired shots at them from a silver sedan around 9 p.m. in the 900 block of North Hamlin Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side, police said.
The 26-year-old man was rushed to Stroger Hospital in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds. The other man suffered gunshot wounds to the hip, groin area and buttocks, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition was stabilized.
Two men were also critically injured in shootings on the South Side.
