Interesting. How's it handle? Specifically I'm wondering how well the new three finger grip ballances the comparatively long slide?
How many fingers can you get on that grip now?
1911 wannabeAs a side note, how tight is the slide to frame fitbof the P320? I love my PPQ and it performs amazingly well but the rattley fit of the slide irritates me!
That could be good or bad. I've handled some that made you think the slide was ready to fall off and some that you'd need a vise to get unlocked!1911 wannabe

What reference wrist crown is that?
Can I ask where you got it? The P320 Compact is on my short list for next purchase and none of the places near me carry that model.
Great choice. I keep changing my mind between the sub and the explorer 2. It will be passed on to my son so maybe I should let him pick (he's only a year old).116610LV
Goes well with my OD green grip and AR parts
You do know you could have bought the Sub-compact frame for about 46 bucks and slapped it on and got the same result? Looks good though.

I'm guessing 9mm? I was seriously looking into getting a compact in 357 sig.
Yes this one is 9mm.
I would love a 357 sig conversion kit but that would equate to some expensive shooting.
I honestly don't even consider ammo prices when getting a new caliber anymore. Reloading can make just about any caliber affordable to shoot less it's a super duper obscure caliber. Fun as shit too.
From what I investigated you are not allowed to get the conversion kit. I looked at this same gun and thought the same thing that caliber swapping was a benefit. Sig will not ship the conversion kits to nys and when I looked no one else had them. So think about that before you buy. I know a lot of people have .22 covers ion kits for 1911's so it might be sig being extra cautious. There is a lot of that going on lately. Cdnn won't ship ar uppers to nys grab a gun won't ship anmo to nys. So who knows.Yes this one is 9mm.

Thats true
With a necked case like the 357 sig, do you have to trim or need extra dies?
I also hardly (never) see 357 sig brass on the range to supplement buying factory ammo to shoot to reload the brass
As well my reloading costs for 9mm is about 10.5 cents a round for a round that mimmicks my carry ammo, i guess the real issue is I am to lazy to start the trial and error process over again to get to what my gun/I can shoot well and a lot of without breaking the bank
I'm not sure about the trimming. With my 7.62x25 I've shot the same cases over and over and they seem to stay the same length. I actually did order a trim pilot for the casings though (yesterday in fact) because I will be forming casings out of .223. You can buy once fired or even new brass for 357 sig everywhere. And of course you could form your own. There is a caveat with forming it though.
The .40 casing is slightly shorter than the 357 sig casing. Some do it but some say it's dangerous. I would personally do it. The .40 casing is 21.59mm long. The 357 sig is 21.97mm long with a minimum of 21.72mm. A difference of .13mm from the 40. A 40 casing would probably stretch out to the minimum 357 sig length after just forming it. Almost certainly after the first firing. To give some perspective on short cases, the 7.62x25 case length is .990. When you buy brand new starline brass it measures .958 to .962. These measurements are straight from their website and I have confirmed them as well. They load and shoot just fine. I also have some .223 loads where the cases are way shorter than spec and they can remove gonads off a nat from 100 yards. I achieve this load using data directly from here Take Aim at Rifle Reloading Data | Hodgdon Reloading. Short casings aren't a big deal. It's cases that are too long that cause problems.
Sure why not just to satisfy my curiosity. Maybe it needs to be shipped to an Ffl. I also asked a local gun store and they told me it was law enforcement only, but I'm pretty sure the guy dos not know what he was talking about.Really?
If you want i can shoot one of the customer service guys over there who i order all my parts through an email to see what he says.
I dont think i would ever realistically get a conversion kit, for the cost and hassle getting the caliber added to my permit along with the $40 magazines I would be better off just buying a new gun
