CMP Garand does not come from a traitorous company that fucked over gun owners in Illinois for profit. The M1A does. Get a Garand, enbloc clips are entertaining.

Check out Bula or LRB they make beautiful M14 clones.

Nope. Would have been interested in a 1911, but based on the way they price their Garands I’m sure the 1911’s will also be drastically overpriced. I’m not volunteering to over pay. Additionally, their eligibility rules to purchase from them are BS. Cash money, that should be the only requirement. No issue with having the gun transferred to my FFL and going through the background check, but two background checks and a litany of other garbage rules means I will never support them. I’m a big fan of 1911’s and yes, what they will be putting out will have history attached to it, but I bet my Kimbers, Colt, and Sig will out shoot them all day long.

You can use modern ammo, just make sure it's 150 grain 30-06. Any higher and you can damage the operating rod.

PPU also makes a good 150 gr. 30-06 rd.

Garand spec ammo is available from Federal and Prvi Partizan. There are also adjutable gas plugs that allow any commercial ammo to be safely fired.

Incorrect, M2 ball is spec'd to a lower pressure than most commercial ammo.
